Ordered 6 fatayer yesterday tried to warm them and ate 2 with cheese AWFUL they weee hard to break your teeth No taste we threw the other 4 When we called to complain the woman said the make them 4 times a week and freeze them. And that is how you get them frozen. Do not throw your money.And if you complain you get talked over like you do not know MAHROUSE since they expanded they lost the quality of their sweets

I learned that this bakery is run by a family that has generations’ worth of experience. The sweets offered are beyond delicious, the quality of the ingredients shines through. This is a must stop if you love desserts, a true Montreal gem. The service is exceptional, the smiling ladies behind the counter were very helpful with suggestions because there was so much too choose from.

Wow, a one of a kind place in Montreal. Amazing variety for middle Eastern pastries. Super curtious and friendly service. Knowing everything is hand made, prices are very fair and representative of the quality. Plenty of parking spots. I will be back for sure !

Wonderful family affair. We visited at least 3 times and were given many samples while trying to pick out our selections. Many varieties, friendly staff and great quality food made this one of our favorite places to go on our trip.
The sweets and the environnement is amazing but although they have too many staff,when it's busy there will be a huge line and it's not clear where we can order things.

Parking is limited but at least it has parking The sellers pretend to speed up when taking orders, they don't explain anything and if you are unfortunate enough to ask they turn a deaf ear 😒 An experience in 2023 (I said never again) the kunaffa was just not to my taste and the pastry bin is not worth the price I set foot again in November 2024 Same atmosphere, same service and for what I had (oriental cakes) they all had the same taste 😕

Looking at all those 5 stars ratings, i can fully understand the'' imitation of the many'' human behavior. I definitely felt the kindness of the staff but unfortunately its the only thing they can offer at this point. Basically it's phyllo dough with sugar syrop at premium price. You will feel scammed by the lack of ingredients like pistachio or all sort of nuts. Taste is bellow average and freshness is to be desired.
