Love the kunafa, such a cute place too
Good quality food. Service wasn't at its best. Could be better.
Amazing food, very nice workers, they helped us out a lot with selection and explained each item patiently. Thanks.
I bought pistachio maamoul as a gift. The bottoms of the pastries were burned, and they did not taste fresh. Very disappointing, especially when you pay high price for a premium quality they claim to offer…. What makes it worse is that I specifically asked if they were fresh before buying, and the employee assured me they were.
Worst place for Arabic sweets in Montreal. The knefeh is barely eatable, the service is very bad.
Hope they will improve soon.
I will never visit this place again!
The place is very clean, well-organized, and offers delicious Arabic sweets of excellent quality. The products are always fresh, and the place has a pleasant atmosphere. The only downside is that the cashiers often seem unfriendly and rarely greet customers with a smile; I noticed this during several visits, although it may not apply to every staff member.
One of the best 👌
Very nice staff and friendly service! Very high quality products
We drove from Ottawa to Montreal yesterday specifically to buy sweets from Mahrouse, so we were disappointed by the service we received. My wife waited patiently for her turn, but the male employee serving her was cold, unfriendly, and showed no interest in helping. After we purchased around 3 kg of sweets, he simply left the boxes on the counter and walked away. When I asked for a bag, he silently placed one in front of us and left again. The rest of the staff seemed friendly and professional, but this particular employee’s attitude left a very negative impression. Great sweets, but customer service is just as important as the product. Unfortunately, our experience did not match the reputation of the place.
Excellent sweets and desserts, always fresh and delicious. The service is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Middle Eastern pastries!

This Syrian patisserie is so warm and luxurious it's a beautiful hommage to the rich and intricate Syrian architecture and design. The deserts are divine! Coffee lovers you must sip on a hot cup of Turkish coffee with cardamom while enjoying all the sweets.
