The desserts are very good, no complaints there! However, the welcome was not my best memory. I felt like I was disturbing the saleswoman in her conversation with her friends and she apparently didn't really find my request for a recommendation on their popular desserts very relevant (as if my question was stupid).

If you are Brazilian and miss a French bread roll (cacetinhi, salt bread), try "papo seco" which is a Portuguese bread capable of alleviating your longing for our traditional bread roll! Here's a tip. ;)

Great place but unupdated info, it doesn't open at 7A.M.Twice I got there at 7A.M. in search of good bread for Breakfast and was meth with the door closed. Waited around 1 hour, no one came around.

Visiting Montreal and looking for some Portuguese food for lunch. It was amazing! Tony really took care of us. It was so good, we ordered food for dinner too!

Had a delicious egg tart and a ham cheese sandwich here - tasty! Very small space so best if you come solo or with one other person.

Delicious treats, low prices.

Friendly and fast service with amazing baked goods! The bakery offers amazing egg tarts and loaves of bread, both of which I was very happy with. Everything is priced quite reasonably with egg tarts at $1.74 each (or 6 for $10) and a loaf of bread for about $3.75. Coming here definitely makes me want to learn Portuguese, as most of the staff and clients speak the language to each other! That said, they are also fine speaking in English and French.

Came here based on the reviews. The one lady in the store was friendly and greeted us. Unfortunately she was busy when we were ready to order, so she asked the younger lady to help us. No attempt of a greeting was given or smile. She had a scowl on her face and a look of annoyance and speaking loudly at us as though we were deaf. Yes, our French was not very good, but we attempted. She made sure to make us feel unwanted there. Very awkward experience as we made an honest attempt to be friendly and polite. Once we paid I made sure to thank her, but she didn’t bother to reply, smile, or give any eye contact. She just stood there waiting for us to leave. The pastries were good but it was difficult to enjoy after such a negative and awkward experience lingering on our mind as we walked away. We will not be returning. There are many places in Montreal looking for business.

I ordered two galao’s, strawberry cheesecake, Felicia and the coffees were made perfectly hot and delicious. The strawberry topping on cheesecake was so fresh and and perfectly sweetened. The ladies were very polite and cheerful!
