I actually stumbled upon this place just by walking around, and I’m really glad I did on my first day in Montreal from NYC!

From the moment I walked in, the host greeted me warmly, which immediately set the tone for the experience. My waitress was also wonderful, she was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations for classic Canadian comfort food.

We came in before a show, without a reservation (silly us) and the manager went out of his way to accommodate the 6 of us. The restaurant was very loud and busy. Our server was running around nonstop. We had to wait a while for our food, but considering how busy it was, it's understandable. We had a enjoyable time and appreciated the efforts of staff to accommodate us.
