Very nice 👌 Great Food and Service
Catherine was excellent, she gauged our speed, to make the whole experience wonderful. The tasting menu met all our expectations. See you again, soon! Merci
Great French bistro with amazing service. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
Rack of lamb disappointing. Duck was good.. Service was very good. Nice atmosphere.
Classic place for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. Beautiful decor, excellent service and fantastic french cuisine. The smoke salmon with truffle oil and wild mushroom ravioli appetizers are out of the world delicious,
Lovely hotel in superb location. It's what you're looking for when seeking an Old Montreal experience. It's true that the bed is firm but we like that and the pillows were perfect. The sheets felt luxurious. It can get noisy on Saturday night and the towels could be better. Parking was a breeze next door and cost about 75$ for two nights. All in all, will be back!
The server was great. The speed of the food was very slow. Meal quality was great and they have an excellent wine selection. The duck and rabbit were both lovely. Again just a long wait between courses.

The server was nice, the food was alright but waiting over an hour and a half between each service for the tasting menu made no sense.

Delicious restaurant in the heart of old Montreal! They offer excellent wine selection and a great menu choice! They also offer a tasting menu so you get to experience the best dishes of the restaurant (6 service). We tried their special MTLaTable promotion which was a 4 course meal and it was great! It allowed us to discover this restaurant and we would come back again in the future to try out more dishes!

By far the best place I’ve ever eaten. It’s been two years since my husband and I went for our anniversary and I since dream about this restaurant. The duck with maple syrup is amazing. The napoleon rivals that of any French restaurant. I will count down the days which I can come back. Please never change!

We had a great time at Bonaparte and would definitely visit again!
We came for the four course Montreal à Table menu, which was excellent. I tried the pumpkin soup, duck confit, beef cheeks, and chocolate cake. Each dish was well-presented and tasty. The only dish I probably wouldn’t order again is the beef cheeks, which I thought was good but not great compared to the others. On the flip side, I’m still thinking about the duck confit 24 hours later.
I also got the wine pairing for each course, which was a little ambitious seeing as they were full sized glasses. I was told that the normal menu comes with half-servings though. Our sommelier was knowledgeable and took the time to explain each glass. It made for a very enjoyable experience.
Service was 4 stars. It took about 15 minutes for us to get seated and for someone to take our order, though I’ll write that off as it being a busy Friday evening. After ordering though, each course and wine pairing came out at a smooth and enjoyable pace.
Overall a great experience. I would highly recommend visiting if the menu suits your tastes.

Excellent restaurant, very good atmosphere, impeccable service, very knowledgeable and attentive waiters with a great smile! Not noisy at all. Nice white tablecloths, comfortable chairs. The tables are nicely spaced out. Very nice background music. Montreal should have more restaurants like that.
The food is excellent. We were 4 people and ordered different choices and they were all great! The dishes decorated with a big taste and with so many details. Rare find. I would recommend it 100%.
