Came here for late night supper after spa day at Bota Bota, place was still open at 10pm. Got pipa tofu, steamed pork with salted egg yolk (very tradish homey Canto dish, perfect with rice) and beef noodles (gan chow ngo hor) hit the spot perfectl

First time there and I am recommand it.
The plate is only one thing. So it’s good to share. I recommand you order some white rice and a vegetables plate.
Orange chicken just marvelous!
Shrimps and vegetable soup great but little to greasy for my daughter.
Spicy schrimps are great too.

5/5 in my books for getting good cheap Chinese food! I don't want anything fancy, I just want good food to have with friends and this place did that. Went late at night because I saw they're open until midnight and the staff were really nice (complimented my debit that I have stickers on which was sweet) and the portions were huge! Will be coming back again ☺️

I had been a regular for over 10 years at this place.... but all this changed tonight. Never coming back again! The food had always been decent, but nothing extraordinary. Nonetheless i never have much complaints because of the few choices of restaurants in Montreal Chinatown. Yet, tonight not only was the wine terrible... in addition the staff had a rather unpleasant and weird attitude! They were also a little racist. Thats not all. When we felt that the attitude didn’t particularly deserve to be tipped at the usual percentage of 15% or higher, the female waitress whose haircut look like a guy actually came close to the door and talked really loud and gave me a piece of her mind as we were leaving.

This restaurant’s waiting staff really need to be replaced!!! Dont go to this restaurant people!!!

I mean, I really didn't have high expectations so that in itself made for an okay experience. We got the Canto noodles, fried rice, mixed veggies and dumplings. The dumplings were a huge disappointment as they were underdone and tasteless. The problem is they are so packed and don't speak the best english so making a complaint isnt even worth it.

The food also felt microwaved because usually hot food from the pan you can tell is steaming but when things are microwaved the heat is trapped underneath and in the middle so the steam doesn't rise. Again, not the end of the world but not good either.

The mixed veggies and fried rice were the saving grace here because the Canto noodles were not good until I put some soy sauce in. Otherwise, a forgettable place and I am sure there are some better options around selling the same type of food with better service and quality.

Not good service as expected for a Chinese restaurant, but I at least expect food to be good. Have to ask for ice water, not refilling it. When asked if certain food contains peanuts, waiter just annoyingly said no. We order 1/2 a roasted duck, it came out BLACK & DRY. It was old and they re-deep refry it. When I told the lady, she just said she would mention to the owner, that’s all. A guy brought our noodle out, it was the wrong type but we started eating anyways thinking oh well, no surprise. However, he came back and said oh, I gave you the wrong dish. He asked us the put the food back onto the plate so he could give it to the right customer, but we already started eating. He ended up took that dish away and proceeded to give it to the other customer.

When everything else is closed, this place is open. The number of Chinese tourists eating here may be testimony to its authenticity or just a coincidence becauas this place is open late. Food was fantastic. Fixed price hot pot dinner makes choosing easy if you have a group of 2 or 4.
