I recently had the pleasure of dining at Itamea in the east end of Montreal, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was inviting, the food was exceptional, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier.
The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—some of the best I’ve had in the city! What really stood out was the incredible service, especially from the owner Antoine, who made us feel genuinely welcome and well taken care of.
Even if sushi isn’t your go-to, the extensive menu offers plenty of delicious options for all tastes. Itamea is a must-visit if you’re looking for a top-tier Asian Fusion experience with heart and hospitality

Very clean, the food is excellent, quality, quantity/price, the plates are very generous, we left with half, I highly recommend it.
The sushi is delicious. The menu is enormously abundant in variety. The waitress has a smile that brings warmth to your heart. Plus, it’s bring your own wine, what more could you ask for. An address to remember. Family atmosphere and great energy. Very affordable price. Excellent value. We'll come back for sure ;)
