I had a wonderful experience at LeDon Donburi! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome. The cozy vibe and anime-themed decor added a fun touch to the evening. Highly recommended if you're craving authentic Japanese rice bowls in Montreal!

A bit on the upscale/ expensive side, but dining in made it worth it for the atmosphere and hospitality. The food was very delicious and authentic tasting. Very friendly and educational service from the staff, learned a lot about the food and culture. Would recommend to Japan culture enthusiasts.

japanese-inspired, small, cozy spot in mile end - i had the special-of-the-week don with pork belly nuggets and spicy shichimi mayo sauce. very delicious, strong spiciness! would personally appreciate more vegetable with more acidic flavours to balance out the quality amount of the crispy deep-fried meat. and perhaps the small soup spoon was a bit awkward to eat rice with in a tall donburi bowl (wanted to ask the staff about this but was feeling a bit introverted that day sorry).
staff was very friendly and attentive the whole time!

They make relatively good food and it had a rather authentic izakaya feel. The rice is good quality and well cooked and they have a good umami mix of flavor in their Donburis. I was a little disappointed that their tonkatsu was not fluffy and a little overcooked to dryness, but at least the bowl made up for that in flavors and quality ingredients.
This place was such an amazing experience. We didn't have a reservation (on a Friday night), so we waited outside and finally got a table. The host was lovely; even gave us complimentary drinks to warm us up 🥹. The food was some of the best donburi I've ever eaten, and their hot sauces? Oh you NEED to try them. Boyfriend and I will be repeat customers for sure (and we will call to make a reservation next time 💖)!!!

Amazing authentic japanese food!
We tried the Karaage Don and the Katsu Don both with sides of curry, one classic and one house curry. Both plates and sides were DELICIOUS !
Highly recommend this if you are a couple looking for a satisfying meal. Prices were reasonable and service was immaculate, polite and fun.

I went for the first time along with my mom and brother and we all loved it.
In terms of cuisine it felt fulfilling, we enjoyed our Takoyaki, Nanami fries, Korokke, Unadon and Gyudon fervently.
The service and employees were all very nice and we had some great conversations throughout our time there. I would enjoy getting to return with other groups of friends there.

Charles and Alex were kind, charming, and very welcoming. LeDon offers a delightful combination of great food and a fun atmosphere. The decor is cozy and warm, and each unique dish is a creative reinvention of classic Japanese fare. This restaurant is a must-try in Montréal!
