Great Tapas and Local dishes. We stopped for a late lunch and had 8 tapas plates and a couple of drinks. The waitress was very warm and welcoming. We tried the typical dish to the town ‘old clothes’ which despite the name was delicious! Very very good value for money.
ate here on our way driving through thr mountains from corralejo to morro hable. it's on the main road in pajara but that probably makes it a bit more authentic. my friend had the fish fillet with rojo potatoes and after some discussion with the waitress and another customer i chose the octopus 'old clothes',basically octopus and chick pea stew. Both meals were very tasty and with bread and wine the bill came to euro 23. There are also some small souvenir shops...
Referred to this place on a Sunday afternoon driving from Granada to Madrid. Classy atmosphere, friendly warm service and excellent food and wine. A notch above other restaurants in Valdepenas.
