Loved the atmosphere, food and the service at the Atwater Sesame. Tried the Bao and the general Tao. Absolutely loved how the Bao was a perfect blend of sweet, chilli and savoury flavour. The freshness adds to the overall flavour as well. Kind gestures by chefs Isha and Meryem to make the adjustments for my dishes to be a bit spicy and prepare accordingly. A must visit for a good family experience.

We arrived before noon on Sunday, the lounge was almost empty, yet we had to wait 40 minutes for my starter, and 10 minutes more for the 2nd starter because the waitress had forgotten it.
And even when she apologized for forgetting it, she took her time ordering it from the kitchen.
Slow service also for fairly simple drinks: a homemade lemonade and an infusion. Finally, we were brought desserts from another table.

The food was excellent, and it is obvious that the chefs put a lot of care and skill into their dishes. Unfortunately, this culinary quality was overshadowed by poor service.
I am surprised to see that several customers have left comments regarding the slowness of the service, and I confirm that it is still slow and that nothing has been done to improve the customer experience.
I ordered a bottle of sake that I wanted to drink cold, but was surprised to receive a room temperature bottle. When I asked for a bucket to cool my sake, I was brought a carafe filled with ice. The waitress completely disappeared and never returned to our table afterward.
In addition, the wait time to receive our dishes was endless, more than an hour and a half. I was amused to see how many takeout orders were given while we waited.
The ambiance of the restaurant was okay, but the overall experience was tarnished by the service. Fortunately the second waitress was more attentive to our needs.

You have to do better. Can’t charge a client 5$ for extra salmon and not give any salmon. All the vegetables were stale. I paid 30$ for 3$ worth of Rabbit food (lettuce and carrots)

What ever you do, don't order online. If there is any mistake they will not make it right. I had an issue where their own website placed the order at the wrong store (50min walk away). When I tried to pick up my order they said there is nothing they can do and my only option is to walk 50min and pick it up or pay again and they would make it there. Manager (who wasn't even on site) would not do anything to work with me. Also the phone number given on my receipt didn't seem to go to the correct store either. They didn't have my order either. ?? Worst experience I have ever had using an online order system.

We were a group of four. I ordered the Chicken General Thao and it was perfect, it was sweet but crunchy. Food 10/10
Only complaint with the service was that the water bottles were often empty

The food is delicious, there were 3 of us and we all enjoyed it.
The benches on the terrace are not comfortable, however, they provide us with a cushion for the back, without problem! We will return.

We had booked with a group of 7 people. The food was good, but nothing wow. The waitress took above average time to bring us our aperitifs, and even took our orders before we even brought our drinks. At 9 p.m., closing time, the lights were turned on brighter despite the fact that some of us were receiving their digestives. One dessert item was not available, but the waitress was not aware of this at the time of ordering….

The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. Both yong ladies servers are professional, clean, and provide attentive service, taking care of every detail. The restaurant is also very clean, one of the cleanest in the area. I loved that the kitchen staff work in an open kitchen, so you can see how clean they are. They wear masks and scarves, which is great because, in many restaurants here in Montreal, hygiene isn't always respected, but here at Sesame, everything is spotless. I truly enjoyed everything! After trying several Asian restaurants in Montreal, I can confidently say this one is the best overall, and I will definitely add it to my list of favorites.

One of my favorite places with Asian food! I simply love their spicy salmon poke-bowl and General Tao chicken. Although dumplings soup is really good too. Recommended??
