Great food. Funky decor. Party atmosphere!

Satay Brothers Marché Atwater is a popular spot offering delicious Asian-American fusion food. The satay chicken and sausage hot dogs are pricey but super tasty. The pork belly bao, papaya salad, and laksa are all better than expected. The papaya salad with tempeh is a must-try, and the fresh, flavorful papaya salad is highly appreciated, although it can be heavy on cilantro. The satay chicken skewers are incredible—tender, well marinated, and grilled to perfection, especially when paired with peanut sauce. The chicken satays are bursting with flavor, making them a must order. The sandwich of the day, a pork chop sandwich, is sloppy-looking but very tasty. The bao bun is good but slightly overpriced. The restaurant offers a street food style experience with quick, delicious food and even a cold beer on a hot summer day. The short selection of draft beers helps cool down during the summer. The Atwater market atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with tables available right away for groups. The staff are friendly and create a warm, summer-like atmosphere. The cuisine is of high quality, with flavorful dishes that remind some visitors of a relaxing Club Med vibe. The restaurant is open only in the summer and is considered one of the best places in the city to enjoy Southeast Asian flavors. Service is quick, and the menu offers a decent variety. Prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for a bite with friends. However, some dishes tend to be quite sweet, which may not suit everyone's taste. Overall, it is a friendly, unique place worth visiting for its flavors and lively atmosphere.
