Just right, clean modern decor. Friendly, efficient service and the best, fresh and generous portions of vegetables, etc.

We went with our children aged 6 and 8 after a show at the Arsenal Contemporain. The welcome and service with the children was warm and efficient. The noise level is just perfect. The food was very good and the quantity was very adequate. I definitely recommend it if you are in the area.Kid-friendliness: The restaurant was very child friendly and high chairs were available

A very nice experience after a stroll at the Atwater market. A quality lunch, in a relaxing atmosphere. With impeccable service.

Ordered as a birthday dinner, turned out to be disappointing. I'm sorry, but I really did try. Despite reading other's bad reviews, I still took a chance to support local. I love pad thai so decided to try a new place to add to my list. Sesame won't be on that list tho. I paid for extra panko tofu, got none. Asked for extra spicy, got none, had to add my own, even though the description mentions ''slightly spicy'', really, where? Peanuts? Don't even dream about it. Topped with one tiny lime, barely squeezable. Oh, and the chicken, can you make it look more cooked, for others please, it almost looked microwaved. I'm not even mad, I was really hungry and the food weighing 787 g was appropriate, I'm rather quite disappointed that I had to pay 30$ for this lack of ingredients, extras and refinement. I've already cooked a few pad thai from scratch, and I start to wonder if you use fresh ingredients or a premade sauce from bottle... Anyway, I hope you guys improve, I wish you perseverance and success in your endeavors, peace.

When I first visited Sesame on St. Jacques I was happily surprised; the food was fresh, spicy and innovative. When they opened the Atwater branch we went there and found it to be ok, although a few notches down from our initial experience. I went the other day again and boy was the experience bad. Service continues to be good and efficient. But the food was terrible. I ordered chicken with peanut sauce on rice and both the chicken and rice were badly cooked. The chicken was completely tasteless, product of what happens when you don’t seat protein properly. All it’s juices were long gone so for flavour you only relied on the super sweet peanut sauce. Very disappointed. The resto of my family’s food was also quite bad. And to top it, quite pricey. Will not got there again. It’s sad to see a good idea get lost by greed…

The worst Asian fusion you will ever eat. A lackluster and very limited menu...Dumplings from a freezer, tiny portions...my beef terriyaki had 5 little strips of beef in it and was 85% bell pepper...General Tao Chicken that tasted like it came from the food mart at IGA and emperiasl rolls that were store bought...the worst Asian restaurant I ever ate at in my life...

The staff does not care about the food deliveries, they do not respond to requests. Instead of answering the question, they take a plate of food from under the cash register and start eating.

Food and service yesterday were both excellent! First off, lots of vegetarian options which is great. My partner ordered the general tao tofu which was perfectly crunchy and the sauce was delicious. I ordered the pad thai which was one of the best I've had, huge portion and very flavourful. The server was very friendly and checked in on us regularly. The terrace was lovely and the plants made it feel private despite it being in an area with a lot of pedestrians walking by. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Most items on the menu have a vegetarian option

Never seen a more incompetent staff. They’ve gotten 100% of my orders wrong, and 90% of the time there’s a missing item.Even after assurances they would do better. Disgusting.

The Tom Yum has very little flavour to it along with a pretty small portion.I'm told the Poke Bowls are better.

This place did not meet expectations for the main dishes. I thought both dishes were bland, especially the red curry which felt like something I could make at home (if that's what you're looking tor tho go for it!). However, I must say that their soup was amazing (the mildly spicy one with mushrooms). If I ever go back, I'll order that for my main dish :)
