SO GOOD. It was SO amazing, that even a shrimp hater myself could not resist their tempura. It melted in my mouth. Every piece they made was fresh. My boyfriend and I like to go to sushi places as a date night and BY FAR this has been the best of the best. They played sweet Ghibli music in the background, and I swear their food tasted and looked better than what you see in the animation.
Service was fast and amazing. The waitress was super chill, and she kept a close eye on when we would finish our appetizers and bring in our dishes at the perfect moment.
I only put atmosphere at a 4/5 because the place was incredibly tight and gets awkward and busy when there’s delivery drivers and pickup or a big group decides to come in on your date night. I think there was a patio so if we were dressed warmer, we would’ve sat outside. Otherwise, a very quaint and sweet place. I’m coming back as a regular!
Give this place a try when you’re craving authentic Japanese sushi in the middle of Montreal’s amazing urban wonders! The staff is very friendly, and the sushi is as authentic as it gets. This will definitely be one of the restaurants I visit again when I come back!
I’ve been twice now and had yummy sushi both times! The presentation is very pretty and I loved splitting a sushi boat!
Loved the Wong tong soup. Me and my husband loved the dragon eye sushi and the fancy, clean atmosphere was outstanding. I hope this business thrives and I will definitely stop by next time I'm hungry.❤??????

Sozo Sushi in Montreal is a real treasure the quality and freshness of the sushi are second to none. Their nigiri is simply outstanding, and the shrimp tempura I had was crisp and delicious. The variety of sushi is unique and refreshing, making every visit a new experience.
The cozy atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed meal. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. The sushi rolls, especially the special roll, were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The creative and fun display added an extra touch to the dining experience. We took the 28 pieces sushi option for 2 people. It included Miso soup and Shrimp tempura. Food portion was
generous.
Sozo Sushi shines with its fresh ingredients, excellent service, and warm environment. Highly recommend a visit.

Great sushi! The servers are very nice, the decoration is really cute and the menu is quite varied. PS: for Tako Yaki fans, this is a very good address.

Horrible service and just very rude to us. Huge shame as we were regulars coming at least once a week and spending close to $2-300 a month.
While more expensive, this sushi place is much better than the one right next to it. I would say it is fresher and higher quality. The nigiri sells by single piece which makes it a bit prohibitive.
My only other comment is that the sushi pizzas do not come with a description in the menu, which surely can be fixed. The PFK roll packs a crunch!
