Sabayon Reviews
Lovely restaurant. The owners are very nice and friendly. Reservations are mandatory. The tasting menu is very affortable considering the quality of the food. The menu changes every season according to what fruit and vegetable is in season in Quebec. The ingredients are very fresh. The dishes are nicely presented and quite original. The decor is simple and cozy.
A must try
lovely dinner and cute ambiance.
especially enjoyed the petit choux, the scallop and the mushroom (love the sauce) and first time trying sheep milk yogurt.
will try to be back a few months later when season changes for other food ingredients.
and it's quite nice to learn about food ingredients sources

Sabayon offers an amazing dining experience with chef-d'œuvres made from local products. The restaurant serves unique dishes with great taste pairings, including a must-try pistachio ice cream parfait dessert. The afternoon tea experience features tea paired with each course, a different approach that customers appreciate. With quality food, fine flavors, and a cozy atmosphere, Sabayon is highly recommended for a pleasant dining experience. The concept of paying when booking, with taxes and tip included, adds to the overall convenience and enjoyment of the visit.
Sabayon is a real little gem, featuring a warm and intimate atmosphere and elaborate, refined dishes. The menu is seasonal, local, and original, presenting foods that customers usually don't like at all. Special mention goes to the financier with buckwheat and browned butter as a sweet treat. Pointe-Saint-Charles is fortunate to have a restaurant of such quality, but customers must book on the website as no walk-ins are allowed.
The dining experience lasts close to 3 hours, allowing guests to savor each meticulously crafted bite. Standouts include the salty cheesecake appetizer, fresh cucumber scallops, and Arctic char served in a fragrant mushroom broth, all complemented by an excellent selection of wines and cocktails. Service is welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable, making guests feel right at home. Sabayon is a perfect spot for celebrating special occasions or enjoying a memorable evening out.
