I’ve read other reviews and understand that your broth is more heavily spiced compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. However, I found the cinnamon a bit overpowering in the pho, even though I generally enjoy cinnamon. Additionally, I understand you may have been short-staffed and busy with kitchen preparations, but unfortunately, this impacted our overall experience.

Might be my favourite restaurant in Montreal! I have yet to try their pho but I’ve been thrice and have gotten different things off the menu each time and they never disappoint

Best bun cha I’ve had outside of Hanoi. Highly recommend for anyone missing these Vietnamese flavors. Try it’s with garlic vinegar on the side

I ate their rare beef pho for lunch. It was just okay. The broth was decent but the sliced beef and whatever sausage was added didn't taste great. We were the only table on a Saturday afternoon.

We love the "bánh mì chảo" here; its taste makes me feel like I’m in home. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly and professional. Highly recommend

Disappointingly sad meal...the atmosphere in a shopping center during closing hours is quite a bit better, that says it all...cold LED light, non-existent service, we arrive at 6 p.m. we are alone we leave at 7 p.m. still alone on a Friday evening, that says it all!!!..and the food matches the atmosphere..very sad and tasteless..and we visited some Viet restaurants in Montreal for 30 years and this one exceeds the pinnacle of bad experiences...rolls served without a small salad, taken out of dirty and tasteless oil...the rest is also distressing...the Hanoi special is bathing in a tasteless fish sauce, and my partner's grilled skewer, very ordinary and tasteless...we were super enthusiastic at first, believing we were reliving the experience of its predecessor nestled in the same place but unfortunately no comparison...in short, a disastrous experience...very difficult to understand the good reviews, one of the worst viets we have tested....at your risk....

I've been here multiple times and I love their food!! The key thing to note when you come: their Vietnamese food is very different from others found in MTL.
Specifically, they use less msg, fresher ingredients, and it feels much more cozier.
I've tried the small pho, spring rolls, Bun Bo Hue, Hanoi Specialty grilled pork, and baguette with sizzling pan.
The small pho (whether you get chicken or beef) is very refreshing and inviting. I call it a rainy day soup.
Spring roll (with peanut sauce) is large, fun, and playful.
Bun Bo Hue: Has a mixture of spicy, sweet, and acidic to it. It's unexpectedly addicting.
Sizzling pan: I did not like. The tomato sauce is yummy when dipped with bread and the meat was juicy. But I didn't enjoy the sausage or pates inside the dish.
Hanoi Specialty grilled pork: my favourite dish! It's delicious grilled meat submerged in a fish sauce (dipping sauce / soup). You make little lettuce wraps with vermicelli, carrots, daikons, and meat, then dip it into the sauce. And consume all its delicious flavours at once. Oh boy, it's good.
In conclusion, before heading to North Vietnam in your travels, visit this restaurant.
