We returned to our old, NDG haunts this eve, and decided, on a friend's suggestion to go Star of India rather than the regular Ganges (now very much in the rear view mirror). Star of India was top to bottom perfect. We went with \\ Lamb Korma, Eggplant Baji and without a second thought, the Butter Chicken, fearlessly adding creamy to creamy. With some nice chopped mango chutney, hot sauce (which is very hot) to preference. It was served deftly by our fab waiter and jaw droppingly...

New years eve we went to Star of India - they are so welcoming and kind and the food was so delicious and NAAN bread was 20/10. We keep going back over and over again and our meal was so reasonable. These guys are just a wonderful resto in NDG!!!

A definite go to Indian restaurant in Montreal! I’ve been going here for 20+ years. Great employees as well!
My favs are chicken tikka masala, chicken madras, okra… Consider dinning in too. Great atmosphere and comfy. Prices are very reasonable
