what a wonderful little place. delicious, copious and generous amounts. everything is made fresh. the staff was amazing. 10/10
I’ve been to a lot of places for high tea across Canada and in the UK. Often when you go to places for afternoon tea, the tea room is only strong at a couple things, that is not the case here. At Gryphon D’Or, they are the real deal, every single thing included in the afternoon tea is delicious!

The owner's passion adds a special touch to this adorable little place. The tea selection is amazing, and guests highly recommend the afternoon tea service, described as an exquisite experience with delicious food. The service includes a scone, which are the best and soft and moist, three tea sandwiches, two phyllo cups, and an assortment of desserts, but it is only served after 12h30. Making a reservation is advisable due to the small, intimate and cozy space. While the atmosphere is laidback, the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible due to steps and narrow spaces. Overall, it is a great spot for a perfect and enjoyable dining experience.
