Une autre visite pour un souper improvisé chez Toqué! en sortant d'un musée. La météo avait causé des annulations et nous avions le choix d'une table ou d'une place au bar. Avant même d'ouvrir la porte, le valet nous reçoit en souriant, ce qui règle pour nous la question du parking. L'expérience commence bien avant d'entrer. Pas de menu dégustation pour nous cette fois. On choisi des entrées, plats et desserts, tous avec un accord de vin. Il ne faut pas se gêner de demander des suggestions au sommelier. Un autre sans faute. Service professionnel et chaleureux. Des plats inventifs et savoureux.

Expérience sans pareille. Dès le tout début, l'accueil du personnel donne une idée de la suite. L'ambiance et le décor sont calmes avec une agréable musique de fond; les tables sont assez espacées pour assurer une bonne intimité. Nous avons choisi le menu de dégustation; chaque plat était délicieux, recherché et sa présentation magnifique. Le service était très attentionné, les courtes pauses entre chaque service juste parfaites. Vraiment une soirée exceptionnelle.

We had the tasting menu with the premium wine pairings. Everything was excellent. Pairings included a 1996 Vonay, 2010 Montrose and 2013 D'Yquem.

Simon and the team at Toque took really good care of my party. Multiple members of my party are Celiac/Gluten Intolerant and the restaurant took this in their stride, even going so far as to let us know that no mains on the menu would be unavailable to us, stating that substitutions could be made if required. We will absolutely return the next time I am in Montreal.

Le décor est luxueux avec une belle sobriété et une attention aux détails. Les tables sont de bonnes dimensions, bien nappées, les fauteuils sont confortables et l'écartement entre les tables permet une conversation privée. Bref, une expérience de haut niveau. Un grand bravo!

Exceptional food, tastefully presented. Our server, Eve, was very attentive without hovering. Not inexpensive but my wife and I thought a very good value for the quality of our dinners and service. For such a busy restaurant the noise level was quite subdued enabling us to have pleasant conversation. We've already booked our second dinner date there.

The meal here was outstanding! Beef, tuna, the desserts... all spectacularly presented and well prepared. The cost is pricey but you will not be disappointed. Digestifs pair nicely with the desserts at the end also. Worth a visit if you want a finer dining experience.
