Bar Sarah B Reviews
Cool little spot , great bar and great food
Friendly service from our server. Nice decor, basic jazz background music
The Côte d'Azur, Sarah la Divine, and Phocéen very nice cocktails. I don't recommend the gin Stratton that I felt was unbalanced.
the men's washroom had two bottles of lotion but no soap for some reason, like there were clearly empty holders where the soap should be. Our server passed on the issue quickly once signaled but I've never seen something so obviously wrong at a high end hotel.
Good service, great place to be at.
5/5
Bar Sarah B is a cozy and inviting restaurant with a matching aesthetic. They offer absinthe service directly at the tables, not just from the bar. Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff provides attentive service, with servers proactively asking about allergies and dietary needs. The bar area is comfortable, and the poutine is praised as great. The spacious dining room serves excellent food, including popular choices like the Côte d'Azur, Sarah la Divine, and Phocéen cocktails. The restaurant can be a quiet, intimate place or crowded, depending on the night and events happening in town. It is suitable for children and accessible for wheelchair users, with an on-site elevator.
Customers appreciate the friendly service and the classy 1920s atmosphere, enhanced by jazz background music. The absinthe experience is described as a great and memorable part of the visit, thanks to knowledgeable staff. The decor and ambiance make it a local gem hidden within the Intercontinental Hotel. The bar tenders, including long-time staff members, are humorous and welcoming, creating a lively environment. While some reviews mention minor issues, such as the men's washroom lacking soap, staff respond quickly to concerns, maintaining a high standard of service. Overall, Bar Sarah B offers a fantastic experience with excellent drinks, good food, and a memorable atmosphere.
