Always a pleasure to stop by Tsak-Tsak on Beaubien every time I go to Montreal! It's unmissable. It's a little gem of a restaurant and a well-kept secret. It's fresh, local, homemade and above all made with love and so authentic. For lunch, the buckwheat crepe with pulled pork is delectable! For the rest, it’s up to you to discover!
As for music, most of the times I went there, it was quality jazz, cool jazz, bebop, vintage jazz, folk, popular Quebecois and other fairly varied and quality music. Only small downside, music a little too loud for a Sunday morning!? But that's a detail and a little wink and it works out very well.

It wasn't an unpleasant experience, but it left one rather indifferent. The food was very average. The very disappointing smoked salmon bagel. The glasses were all unpolished so looked very dirty.
The service was also very good. No one bad, just not very present.
