Upstairs Jazz Bar & Grill offers impeccable service, with quick and friendly staff who are helpful, respectful, and responsive to clientele. The live jazz music creates a great vibe, featuring world-class, well-seasoned musicians and talented young groups. While the food is just OK, many find it tasty and reasonably priced, with the best burger in town being a highlight. The main draw remains the incredible music, as shows cost a minimal cover charge, making it worth a visit for the music alone. The atmosphere is cozy, though tables are quite tight together. Parking is available in front of the restaurant at a very reasonable rate.
Depending on the evening, there's up to 3 sets with cover ranging from free to $15.00. The inside is intimate, dimly lit with a mix of seat options. The service is friendly and efficient, and the food is excellent. Upstairs is a quintessential small jazz venue where the music comfortably permeates the entire space.
