I’m been going here for years. My favorite panini restaurant. I’m surprised at the low rating but it seems it has to do with the service and little to do with the food itself. Wish this was franchise!

Good food but a big lack of communication misunderstanding on the other hand we have to agree with the consumer when the evidence is there!

This menu has no options for people with allergies, I have a peanut allergy and I tried to ask. They look so offended that I couldn’t order it because of my allergy. My friend later ordered one of the pastas and the worker was very rude while placing our order. She didn’t even try to seem nice or have a better attitude. This is located in the Eaton Centre and I am not impressed with customer service nor the food’s contents. Absolutely disappointing and the employees were not demure.

I’m from Ontario, here on vacation and came for nostalgia reasons. Honestly? Holds up from when I was a kid. Did the tortellini + rosé sauce, mum got Alfredo + penne, both good and fresh.

Went here with my friend. She got spaghetti bolognese and I got creamy carbonara. Wasn’t expecting much but was so pleasantly surprised. It was so good. So generous with the bacon bits also. The staff was polite. Shocked to see these other reviews. Maybe we got lucky. Will be going back, hopefully won’t encounter any problems.

Reading the negative reviews about this place surprises me because I go there regularly and for my part everything has always been fresh, good and a friendly team!!
I tend to get the pizza poutine combo or the sandwiches with salad on the side or the sweet potatoes with spicy mayonnaise!! Also, the pasta and their lasagna YUM!!
Their fries are as crispy as can be!!!
In short, value for money for me and if you want the best, go to an UP restaurant! Not in a fast food restaurant!! ?

Good overall experience for this first visit to Vanellis at the Eaton Center. Pasta and sauce were good, pizza was good. The prices are reasonable too.The service was good.

Food is decent, but the cashiers are on one, mad disrespectful to say the least, please tell these cashiers to get they money up, not they funny up. Periodt.

I go there often because I was used to this place because I worked in the city center but frankly the cashier who has been there for years has difficulty with customer service, not a hello and rarely a thank you. I wonder why she's still here, she seems to hate her job.

I wish I could do the service on 0 but I can’t and so I did a 1 horrible service the worker is islamphobic we asked her if the chicken was halal and she just gave us a bad look she treated everyone well but not us and it took so much time for our food and at the end she just throws the fries on our tray with a dirty look they don’t treat us with respect fix this please they need to have a good customer service horrible service never eating there again!

the cashier I personally met was really nice and understanding after how indecisive I was. And the turkey and brie panini was soo good!!! I spent the whole day shopping and was so hungry, great value for the price !!
