Had great food and neet atmosphere. Very nice place.

Very bad experience.
The Poké lacked flavor, it cost me $25 before taxes and tips because I had avocado.

I had to ask for soy and mayo to enhance the taste a little.

The price has risen at least 30% in a short time and the quality has declined significantly.

Additionally, the service was deplorable. The waitress was particularly haughty, spoke condescendingly and was on her phone all the time.

Very bad experience and really disappointed with this loss of quality.

Parking: Better to come on foot.

Found 3 hairs at the bottom of our poke bowl. Unfortunate since the bowl was actually decent.

I would NOT recommend this place to English-speaking travelers who don’t speak French. The waitress completely ignored me, refusing to make any eye contact, even when I smiled or tried to start a conversation. She just dropped the menu without saying a single word. It was a very uncomfortable experience, and I tried to comfort myself by thinking it might be because I spoke English and not French, rather than because of my race.

The Food was good, but the service was bad. They made us wait a long time and they were rude when we asked about the food. They were also very expensive. Nice environment, but you can find other cheaper spots to eat well.
Also, keep in mind not to go if you’re a big party (6+ people)

Very very very slow service. The restaurant was practically empty when we went but despite this we waited 15 minutes before someone even came to take our order.

Was it the prudish November sun, the tasty healthy bowls or the imminent end of MTLàTABLE? To explain this unexpected human tide that flocked to the radiant pastures of Venice MTL, I choose: all of these answers. This is what the establishment that helped popularize poke in Montreal does best: selling the zenitude of a walk by the sea and the warmth of the sand of the eponymous beach in the heart of the metropolis. White walls, turquoise floor, surfboards, bicycle, photos of palm trees, ferns, wooden ceiling... We had barely given a few spoonfuls of the soothing and creamy butternut squash soup that A, confessed to having fallen under the charm of the local: “I vote for a return”.

Faithful to the spirit of Californian vacationers, we had to stretch out on our chair, spread our legs and take it easy while tens of minutes passed between each wave of the service.

“Our Sundays are usually three times quieter. »

The young, pleasant-tempered waiters nevertheless made amends and generously offered us a refreshing cold-pressed Las Vegas juice as a bonus (normally exchanged for a purple ticket).

The first wave caused this excellent squash soup and a simple but healthy Californian lunch to fail on our table. The second wave presented an excellent sweet crunchy chicken poke with a delectable general tao sauce which went wonderfully with the rice. For the final wave, we grabbed our forks to cut a brownie, rather conventional, but well executed, topped with vanilla ice cream.

Taking advantage of the attractive benefits of the last day of MTLàTABLE, we saved $15 compared to regular prices. Not bad for a bill of $68.99 after taxes.

However, the event website falsely advertised that the restaurant took AMEX, which deprived me of a $10 credit. I console myself by thinking of my sweet bottle of Las Vegas juice collected for free like a bottle carried by the ocean.

Do you miss the beach? Meet at Venice MTL.

Terrible Experience - Zero Stars if I Could!

I had the most awful experience at this restaurant. I walked in with my cat (there were no signs anywhere about pets being allowed or not), and the staff welcomed us without any issue. We placed our order and waited patiently for 20 minutes. Then, out of nowhere, the owner/staff rudely came over and told us we had to leave because of the cat!

If pets weren’t allowed, they should have said so immediately instead of wasting our time and making us feel unwelcome after we’d already
ordered. The treatment was embarrassing and completely unprofessional.

I will never be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—pet owner or not. There are plenty of restaurants out there that actually value their customers!

This place does nice poke bowls. I can't comment on other food.

Great atmosphere and decor, just missing the beach view if you know what I mean.

Service was good, the place was not packed but meals came in about 15 minutes.

Food, I had the Tao poke bowl and at first I was skeptical on how good their general Tao could be but in the end I was impressed. The bowls (or plates) is shallow filled with rice and vegetables and this one came with Kim chi. A bit pricey at $20+ but it's just enough food to keep you going. I would definitely go back but it would have to be with a friend that wanted a healthy lunch.
