Our first time visiting Montreal (we live in Dallas Texas). Villa Tandoori was a great place to stop and eat after our bike ride. Sakshi was very nice and we had Tandoori shrimp and fish, with two side salads. It was inside the restaurant but we opted to sit outside to enjoy the street view, watching people walk by and enjoying the great sunny weather. Thanks Sakshi for making our stop at Villa Tandoori so wonderful!

Warm service. Very nice terrasse. The paneer tikka masala was excellent, so was the chicken madrasi. Great naan bread, all fresh and soft.

Really good quality food
One of the best Indian restaurants in Montreal. Food is authentic and amazing. Food quality and standard is high and always the same. Food tastes the same every time you order (unlike other Indian restaurants in the city). Their naans are cooked to perfection and are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I highly recommend their palak paneer, dal makhani, butter chicken, and veg jalfrezi. Samosa chaat is also good. I’ve had the shahi paneer and it was a bit sweet for my liking, but very creamy. Service is great as always and they have lots of seating available. I usually get their thalis because it’s a really good value for money! Highly recommend!!

Restaurantji Recommends
One of my new favorite restaurants and some of the best Indian food I’ve had in this city! The food is absolutely amazing (especially the Aloo Gobi), the service is great and the prices are super affordable for the portions. Will definitely be coming back a lot :)

The butter chicken is quite tender and flavorful (altho the portion is very small) and the naan bread was ok!
*Would definitely Not recommend the onion bhaji* it was dry, bland and barely contained any onions... Not crispy at all! Almost only chickpea flour! And the sauces were thick and tasted more like molasses...
Paid over 40$ for both... no other sides... Would not order again.
