We arrived for 5 to 7. Very good music, we were in a good mood. We have just arrived from a trip to Spain so we have tasted a lot of similar restaurants very recently.
We had already paid when booking for olives (good, small but in quantity) patatas bravas (too bad the potatoes are brown and not golden) chicken tostada (the chicken was really cold, not lukewarm, cold) pan con tomate con boquerones (excellent) canned scallops (good) and of course with a little bread to accompany the sauces. No vermut available even if displayed on the slate. The glass of wine is about the smallest you will have in a restaurant.
When the bill arrives, I see that there is 2x extra bread. We were never told that the bread was extra, we were offered it, but when I pointed it out to the waitress, she said there was a misunderstanding, I “offered” it to you….a misunderstanding would be for telling us and us for misunderstanding. It's nowhere written or said. Too bad, we feel more and more like we're being cheated when going out to restaurants for some time now. Let's just say it didn't make us want to order another meal or dessert, even if we were still a little hungry after spending more than $175
UPDATE: The price of bread has not been removed. Look at your receipt. 15x4 + 8 +tx + tip

We asked the nice waitress to bring what she wanted to our table. We ate like kings. It was fresh and delicious. This restaurant specializes in natural wines and we were very satisfied. Well done everyone

In this festive little local the welcome managed to surpass my expectations. But unfortunately, I was left hanging.
The service was cordial but inattentive for an average Thursday evening.
The tapas menu was simple, tempting and well priced, until the plates arrived to the table. The small tapas averaged $13-15 per plate but some were bite size, in some restaurants, served as “amuse-bouches” . The wine list by the glass is very original, but served in tasting glass filled 1/3 (2-3oz maybe) for $15. The larger tapas were not very exciting. $69 for over cooked and rubbery feeling octopus and $36 the black ink rice with calamari. Unfortunately both a bit bland, expecting more. Still feeling hopeful for desert, again disappointed. The churros was coeur fondant style, but only it wasn’t chocolate, it was dough. Or as others at the table said, a raw churros which rolled in the mouth all the way to stomach.
I remembered this place as a nice tapas place, unfortunately I left disappointed.

One of my favorite places currently for a delicious yet casual delivery of high-quality dishes with an exciting selection of Catalan, natural wines. The service is kind, but I find it a bit too pushy at times, repeatedly asking whether we wish to order more. I can understand a tapas menu indeed calling for repeated orders, but I would encourage management to relieve a bit of this pressure and trust their customers will order more as they feel compelled to do so by the overall atmosphere and relaxed mood of the place.

Good aesthetic and warm vibe on a Tuesday. The tortillas are made on the spot and i hear the margaritas are excellent too.

My girlfriend took me for my birthday and had. Wonderful experience, great wine paired with a fantastic tasting menu offering a great variety of flavors . We had the opportunity to meet chef Juan Lopez who took time to converse with us a while and share some of his stories and experiences. Would recommend tinc set to anyone in a heart beat. Will definitely be revisiting

Good but nothing more... Service forgets us three (3) times... Out of 10 items on the menu, three (3) are unavailable. Portion-wise the whole thing is complete and total absurdity. The sea bream croquettes I am in shock.

One of my husband and I’s favourite restaurants in Montreal! The food is always on point and tasty (hello tostada), the atmosphere is cozy and laidback, and the service is so friendly! We always feel welcomed when we come dine. You can tell people come back often because the owners (chef Juan and wine expert Lindsay) always greet regulars like old friends. This place never misses! A true hidden gem in Montreal that we will come back to time and time again.

Tinc set is definitely one of my go tos, it's easy to get a table there and you're never disappointed. The service is always excellent, as is the food and wine. Now I have to tell you about the churros...the best I've ever had in my life, really! I still think about it quite regularly. The taste is exceptional and the texture.....it's like biting into a cloud.
