The five of us in our group had no idea what to expect beyond the background of the chef and the focus on heirloom corn. Terrific variety and flavors, delightful service. I wish we'd had time for a repeat during the week I was there.
5 course tasting menu was spectacular. Each course was unique and delicious. The servers are great advocates and take the time to explain each course and connect with the diners. Can't wait to try bar lutz their sister restaurant Nextdoor.

Alma offers a delightful dining experience with creative dishes and quality ingredients. The sea bream crudo stands out for its presentation, texture, and flavors. The tasting menu with wine pairing is highly recommended, especially when paired with natural, biological wines that complement the unique flavors. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, perfect for a memorable meal. The 9 plate service provides a filling meal with each dish perfectly balanced in acidity, seasoning, and crunch. The attentive and knowledgeable staff, including the sommelier, enhance the overall experience, sharing stories behind each dish and pairing wines thoughtfully. The restaurant combines surprising flavors from Spain and Mexico, with each dish revealing layers of complexity inspired by Mexican heritage and local ingredients. Alma is a must-try restaurant that offers a special culinary journey.
