There is much to admire on the elegant, well-lit terrace of this natural wine-fueled, Catalan-inspired restaurant. Waitresses wearing plastic face shields as Hassidic men walked by in giant black fur hats created a vibe somewhere between science fiction and shtetl. I had the full tasting menu with wine pairings in Sept 2026 for a special birthday dinner. I had no idea what to expect but knew instantly that it was going to be good when the amuse-bouche arrived.
I cannot say enough about how good this was…a very unique meal that kept surprising us as it went on. The food was exquisite and the wine pairings, many from Catalonia, were lovely and completely on point. I didn’t want it to end, but fortunately it did as I was full.

We had a wonderful experience at Alma this past weekend. The service was impeccable, we felt very well looked after. All 8 courses were delicious - the moles and pork dish were standouts, and we were very happy with the variety on both the gluten free and regular menus. The wines were great but would have liked descriptions of how the wine paired with the food items as we couldn't always see the connection. Regardless, enjoyed our meals and will be back!
