The food is good but I'm a huge dagwoods fan and sadly the few times I've gone the bread wasn't fresh and that does make a big impact on the overall dagwoods experience

I have been a dagwoods customer since 1985. The last 3 times the bread has been stale . Great friendly staff.

I normally love coming here but lately every-time I do there's always fruit flies on everything toppings, etc... today they were on the bread. Might wanna try closing the lid to protect the toppings--it's not very sanitary. Especially the veg! I saw them, walked right out. Food is normally great otherwise. Just please consider protecting it! especially in summer. It's such a shame... because I love coming here and their food is delicious but will have to pass until something is done about the fruit flies.

Have these people ever eaten a sub in their lives?? See pic. My sub was filled with what had the texture of rubber bands but were the outside of pickles (?), a black tomato and giant pieces of onions. Absolute worst sub shop. Not to mention it was dead inside and all the tables were dirty while 2 staff were in the back room area laughing and talking.

This is by far the best Dagwood's in or near Montreal. The food is always fresh and the sandwiches are made with care. The staff is amazing, super friendly and always willing to help.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is my go to sandwich place.

I’ve always had good experiences here, but today (Feb 21st 2025) around 14h30 I went in and just had a great time! The two employees were so sociable and friendly and the service was awesome. We already all know that the sandwiches are bussin at Dagwoods but followed with amazing customer service and kindness makes it 10x better!

Not the service you'd expect for overpriced meh type sandwiches. One of the employees is so unwelcoming she is definitely the type of employee you keep at the back or solely have her work on uber eats orders because with her demeanor she can tank your business if she continues to serve customers.

Ask for the sandwich of the day, poulet pané, delicious, reasonable prices, courteous service, will go back.

We ordered 150 lunch boxes for catering a corporate event. The owner was extremely helpful and polite. He even went as far as helping to drop off the lunch boxes at the venue when we did not have enough room in our car. We were very impressed with the service we received.
