I always order eggs benedict when I try a new place. It was just okay. There are only 3 possible choices for this dish. A little limited for my taste. My wife liked her eggs but the choice of meat must be added to the plate, for sausages, bacon or ham. Overall, I found that the prices were not competitive compared to other lunch places.... Upon my arrival I asked the hostess if they accommodate gluten free. The manager was there and said yes we do our GF pasta in dedicated water and we have a GF pizza crust. They have a long standing staff member with celiac. As soon as we sat down the manager came to see me to see if I had any other allergies! I had pasta but will be back for pizza as well. We stopped by the restaurant on Saturday 17th February for the first time in many years since we no longer live in the area. The young waitress greeted us warmly. We ordered two western sandwiches and coffee. The food was nicely presented and tasted great. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was great, the restaurant had undergone many upgrades since we were frequent customers back in the nineties. We strongly recommend L'Etoile restaurant.
