Studio 77 Reviews
I’m not one to leave negative reviews on any business, but I was really taken aback by the owner’s rudeness. When I mentioned the lack of congruency between the description on yelp, which suggests that it’s a great place to bring laptops and the their no laptop policy expressed to me when I opened it at their establishment, his attitude was over the top. They are entitled to their policy, and I was happy to respect it, but I thought they might want to perhaps update yelp...read full review
!! A Time Machine to Old Europe, Right in the Village !!
Step through these doors and breathe in the whiff of Old Europe! This café isn't just serving coffee and pastries; it's serving time travel. No computers here – they weren't part of Old Europe, where people actually talked to each other over coffee and cake.

Studio 77 is a cozy and relaxed spot offering delicious coffee and a comfortable seating area. The restaurant serves a superbly made cappuccino, homemade lemon loaf, and tasty sandwiches. Customers praise the welcoming atmosphere, with one reviewer noting the "paintings, the atmosphere, it's cozy and welcoming." The café is described as a "Time Machine to Old Europe," transporting visitors to a bygone era where people enjoyed coffee and cake while conversing with one another. In addition to the exceptional food and coffee, the restaurant also showcases local art and features live music on weekends. The place is also a warm gathering spot, with a fully stocked bar for evening visits sometimes accompanied by music, although it is not a bar and laptops or digital nomads working onsite are not welcome. Visitors often mention the attentive staff and their genuine smiles, making each visit special. Summer favorites include lavender matcha — claimed to be the best in town — and the flat white with almond milk, which many enjoy as a daily happiness boost. The cozy vibe, small patio, and the "no wifi lets pretend its 1995" atmosphere add to its charm. Located conveniently and easily accessible, it’s an ideal spot for a leisurely coffee break or a quick snack, and many appreciate feeling very welcome, especially as an English speaker in Quebec.
