Resto de la Plage was a wonderful place for a late lunch after visiting the Montmorency Falls, as it was only a leisurely 25-30 min drive across the Orleans Island Bridge onto the island of l'Île-d'Orléans.
We had no trouble getting a table for five on the patio at 2PM on a Sunday in early July. We were served by a delightful young lady who introduced their popular menu items fluently in English and accommodated our requests. Among other things, we ordered the crab cakes, croquettes, lobster roll and seafood linguine. I also tried a strawberry and rhubarb flavoured beer which was delicious.
Enjoying good food and friendly service on a beautiful (though very windy!) patio on a beautiful Sunday was one of my fondest memories of our trip to Quebec.

Fish and chips, location, view and taste all in one
Vraiment un super beau moment que l'on a passé pour notre brunch. La nourriture était délicieuse. Le service impeccable et la vue tout simplement wow !
Très bon menu et personnel fort sympathique.
Restaurant is in excellent location and seating on terrasse is breathtaking. Food is rather expensive - we ate burgers with fries overpriced but food was good. You go there for 1) location then 2) food.
When I went to Il d’Orleans I had no firm plans on what to see or where to eat. So glad I made an impromptu stop at Resto for a late lunch.
The pesto chicken mushroom pizza was superb, the fish and chips excellent and the lobster bisque fantastic. All that with the view of St Lawrence river made the restaurant the perfect setting.

We ordered the fried calamari and the white wine mussels — both were excellent! The calamari was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the mussels were fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, our experience was dampened by our waitress’s behavior. She was quite rude and, despite us tipping above 20%, she loudly demanded a tip without even counting the cash first, assuming we hadn’t left one. It was uncomfortable and disappointing, especially after such great food.

Food was delicious, too much for me to finish. I love that you have the option for half salad, half fries as your side. Really beautiful terrace, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Had the fish and chips dinner here during a stay on the island. The fish was excellent, hot and flaky, but the breading was a little bit drab. Salad and fries are good. Staff on service were very attentive.

Absolutely loved this place. Food was good. Good portions. Fish and chips dish comes with a lot of fries. The Goat cheese/chicken pizza was unique.
