Novotel Montreal Airport

Unimpressive.
The rooms are dated and the flooring was in very poor shape. Cleanliness was an issue.

Not a very good hotel pretending to be a decent one. The rooms don't get cleaned unless you specifically ask for it, all the staff seems to be in training and unfriendly, the amenities are crumbling, and the location is awful.

We had our car stolen from the hotel parking lot. This hotel is well aware that its customers risk having their car stolen during their stay abroad but does not notify their customers (at least not us!). Even the receptionist keeps his personal car parked in the drop-off point with an anti-theft device on one wheel + on the steering wheel because he knows it's common. It's shameful not to hire a security guard knowing that thefts are so frequent.

Safety: Not safe at all for parking. Do not leave your car behind when traveling.

Very convenient location to the airport. Room very noisy on the 5th floor. I was only staying for two nights so just ignored it.

Rooms: 5 floor room was noisy, had to close bathroom doors and stuff towels at the bottom to muffle humming noise.

Had a short stay at the Novotel. Had the aeroport name in its title when we booked so assumed it had an airport shuttle. It does not. Is a good distance from the airport so I could see why. Expect $20-30 Uber if flying. Check in was quick. Wasn’t what we expected. Ordered a king bed room 2 months ago and got there to get a room with 2 queen beds and a room smelling like smoke. And to top it all off maybe a minute after we entered the room and closed the door. The door suddenly opened with a guy walking in saying he was the manager, apologized and jetted away. No knocking. Notification or explanation for entering our room.

Close to PE Trudeau airport. If you are looking for a picturesque hotel within walking distance to restaurants, this is not the place. However, if you need a place to stay that is clean, a good bed and great value, this is your place!

The room was squeaky clean! More than adequate for a short stay. For an overnight stay or a few days, it's great!

I would stay here again. Nothing fancy but easy on the wallet.

Rooms are clean. Good number of electric outlets around the room and next to the bed, and I do love their showers! It's 5 minute drive to variety of restaurants but there's nothing in walking distance, other than the hotel's own restaurant. They have water and snacks for purchase at the reception too.
