“Atmosphere loved it. But the lights were dimmed way too low. The food was fantastic. I'm definitely going back to try other new things. 🙂 service was great. Waitress was polite, although I would appreciate it if the next time she told me about the beer sizes because I wanted an order of a 7 dollar beer and ended up paying 10 dollars when I specifically said I wanted the 7 dollar beer but it's okay in all the experience was nice and lovely. I also ordered the blue cheese and bacon burger. And my bf ordered the regular burger, which was very yummy.“

“This is a reasonably a good bar and restaurant, however there is a short hair waitress who is very rude with everyone, if you visit this place pray not to have this waitress !“
“For anyone wondering if this is a good bar, it is! For years I was skeptical about this place because of its location but I was so surprised when I opened the door. You can’t tell from outside but the space is actually really nice and cozy and SUPER clean! Their bathrooms are spotless, their counters and fridges are so so clean, everything shines. I was served by a bartender that has been working there for 16 years, a beautiful lady with a great smile. The atmosphere was great, it’s the kind of bar where people easily talk to each other, we made a friendship in there.There’s only one catch, there are slots in there that can attract a certain kind of stressed people.Give the bar a chance, I recommend it.Ah! “My boyfriend and I had the classic poutine and were surprised at how good it was. This poutine hit different and we still talk about it. When we try poutine from somewhere else, we say it's good but it doesn't beat the one from the airport?“

“I had been warned that the smoke meat sandwich was a bit light on the portion side. They were not wrong. It still tasted pretty food but the fries were cold (thankfully, the Waitress got me a brand new, steaming hot mini-bucket of fries).
The problem is that Archibald has become complacent. I've been before both at the airport and in Montréal but the food and portions were better.
Just because you have a kepted-market doesn't mean the food has to be mediocre.
Let me be clear, the service was exceptional. She let me linger as I had a longer than expected wait.“
