Trattoria La Villetta

This is a gem. Traveling with my daughter’s soccer team. Accommodated 16 people last minute. The food was out of this world! If you want authentic high quality food this is the place.

I typically do not write a review unless it's really warranted especially one on new year's day.
I had a 100$+ order with pasta and pizza.
The food was tasty, flavourful and warm when they were delivered. My feedback was that the pizza dough appeared and tasted"not fully baked". I'm not sure if it was just an unfortunate coincidence but I had a nasty stomach ache and was upset after eating the linguini saumon fumee.

I live in a 5-minute radius from this restaurant so delivery is always fast and food always arrives hot. However the quality has never been exceptionally good and has gone down even further. Tonight was likely my last time ordering from La Villetta, which is a shame as it’s a family-owned business I’d like to support and its proximity to me is very convenient.

The pasta is always very overcooked - I mention how close I live to this restaurant because I’ll be generous and factor in that the pasta continues cooking while it’s hot, but this is beyond what’s reasonable for a place 5 minutes away from me. Very bland food generally.

I used to really like the chicken parmigiana submarine sandwich, as it’s a very generous portion for the price. It used to be nice! Not the best, but great for a supper with half leftover for another meal easily. Tonight the chicken tasted strange and left a bad aftertaste in my mouth.

They used to make a very nice bruschetta but tonight I was served soggy bruschetta bread that was already soaked with tomato juice. I can’t help but to wonder if they served me someone’s leftovers? If not, then they clearly forgot that it was a delivery order after assembling the bruschetta, and were too lazy or too cheap to re-toast 2 rolls. This was reported to Uber Eats with photo.

They forgot the crema di caramella for our order as well.

These are all little things that normally I could overlook at a higher quality restaurant, but not when they’re all occurring in the same order. I can’t conscientiously continue to waste my money here when the food has gone from questionable to poor.

We ordered take out as a group. Was told previous prices would be respected they were not, and food was cold. Last order from us best of luck. The response was great! Why would we call back after we paid and was promised something. Turn the page and take our business elsewhere and wish you all the best regardless

10/10, everything was delicious! From the garlic bread and salad to the main course and dessert. Our server was so sweet and the service was fantastic. It felt very cozy and comfortable inside. Will definitely be back soon! 💕

I have been to this restaurant two times, and it gets better each time. The waitress is so sweet and always has a smile on her face. She even put an edible heart on our plates because my boyfriend and I are on a date.

This is the best place to have a date night or dinner with the whole family. You will not regret stopping by!!

My husband and I Uber eats trattoria la Villetta all the time. We love it! Best chicken parm in the city. It always comes piping hot, great serving size, and absolutely delicious!

Best authentic Italian food, dog food surely. Or maybe its even worse to feed the poor animals.
Never order any food or house wine there
Wine tastes like vinegar
Pizza had a undercooked, raw dough, probably not even made there.
Basically its a disgrace to Italian food let alone to call it authentic.
If its the last food on earth i would rather starve hungry than ordering anything here. Charged us 70$+ for basically a candy at the end.
If you want to try a pizza, this should never be a place to go.

Update- Its also strange that maybe the Waiter did not realise that i had almost left the whole pizza and other person left all base. And no one said anything while payment. I was expecting someone to ask but the muted response at end was disappointing. The point of refund should have been there but now anyways its a little late as we are far away to come collect the refund.

I think you are confused or either lying. I dont know what.
But we never took a takeaway box let alone whole pizza. We never ordered pasta. Just ordered two pizzas and wine thats all.
I dont know what youre trying to do here but either you improve things or ignore but dont put wrong stuff.
If you accept the pizza had a issue its ohk i agree but dont put stuff that never happened. If youre confused i understand but the review is a review. It shouldn’t go on like this.
I dont see a point going ahead on this so just know thanks for the offer for the refund but its alright, however half of the things you mentioned are untrue.

I stayed Montreal with my family for 4 days and had a dinner in this restaurant twice. The meals (foods) we had were very good! And the staff(employees) were VERY nice!! I won't forget how kind they were. Thanks for everything. We had a good time here!

It's the first time I've been here
and they served me even though it was Monday and I was absent-minded and passed by because my little son wanted pizza. Thank you very much for serving me and welcoming me so warmly, even the pepperoni pizza was delicious

Great service, good prices, ok food.

Starter Bread with spices
- tasty
- had to ask for olive oil for dipping

Calamari
- generous portion
- flavour was ok (egg flavour in batter)
- sauce was good

Pizza (Americana)
- small portion
- dough undercooked
- felt like the same dough as the starter bread
- disappointing

Bistecca (Rib eye)
- good flavour
- thin cut so it got overcooked
- pasta that came with it was ok

Wanted to try the tiramisu (as suggested by other reviewers) but had to run to catch a show.

Overall it was ok, but not wow.
