“I’ve tried shawarma from many places in Montreal and Laval, but I had never truly enjoyed it. A Lebanese colleague at work recommended this restaurant to me, and I ordered the Shish Taouk trio. To say that I was impressed would be an understatement… The shawarma and the potatoes were absolutely delicious — not greasy at all, yet still juicy and full of flavor. It felt as if I had been transported back to Lebanon.

I would like to sincerely thank the owners for the wonderful experience and the pleasure your food brought me. I’ve now found your restaurant in Laval, and I can’t wait to treat my children — they’re going to love it! I hope the quality at “Basha” in Laval is just as amazing as it is in Montreal!“

“Visiting from NB and our cab driver recommended we try! We ordered the mixed plate with extra hummus, and halloumi plate. Everything was on point. Two of us could not finish the meal and had enough for both to eat for lunch the following day. Staff were friendly, environment was cozy. Highly recommend!“

“If you are craving an authentic Lebanese burger you should only come to this place; it will take you back to Lebanon with its charcoal grilled meat flavor that is topped off with their fresh burger bun made in-house. All of their charcoal grilled platters are glazed with their special sauce that adds only adds to a myriad of flavors and if you are simply not craving meat there are some vegetarian options like the charcoal grilled kaake topped off with their special sauce.

The restaurant itself is spotless, the seating area is comfortable, and everything feels professionally managed. You can tell they take pride in their business.

The food quality is outstanding. Everything tasted fresh, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The portions are generous and the presentation is clean and appealing. The meat was tender and flavorful, the rice was cooked just right, and the sauces complemented the dishes perfectly without overpowering them. You can taste the quality and consistency in every bite. This is not average halal food. This is top tier.

What truly made the experience exceptional was Sondos at the cashier. She is amazing. Extremely friendly, professional, patient, and welcoming. She greets customers with a genuine smile and makes you feel valued, not rushed. Her positive energy sets the tone for the entire restaurant. Customer service like that is rare. She answered questions clearly, helped with recommendations, and handled everything smoothly and efficiently.

Great food is important, but great service makes people come back. Sondos represents the restaurant very well.

“The food is so good! You Will get out of there with a full stomach and really affordable for the amount of food in the plate!
The restroom is clean and smells good! The parking space is a bit tight, but if you have trouble getting out the employees will go out of their way to help you get out! Everyone is smiley and the service is awesome, so fast! If you want beef kafta call before so that they can prepare it because it’s fresh out of the bbq and it takes about 25 minutes! They have a lovely terrace where you can eat and big umbrellas to keep you out of the sun but I don’t recommend those on a windy day since they are so big that they get caught in the wind and dangle around. But once again one of the employee noticed it and came to remove them as soon as one almost hit me on the head!
I strongly recommend, it’s actually the best restaurant I’ve been at in RDP!
