We recently had a family dinner here and it was incredible. Although the food was fantastic, it was the service I appreciated the most. The owner has a great sense of humour and made it such a pleasant evening.

I enjoyed it so much that I am organizing a small work event there.

The owners are amazing and so is the food, we absolutely love everything about this cozey little restaurant. The owners are full of passion for their craft and it shows. We enjoyed our evening me and my partner. 100% recommend, it's a staple and not for nothing.

Super disappointed! We came on Saturday night before 8pm, and was told it is closed soon. Website shows open 6pm to 11pm. It is a small town. We drove far to the location.Everyone was very disappointed by the cold face in a cold night. I definitely not recommend this restaurant!!

Very nice cozy, old style place with waterfront view. Not your typical restaurant. Very friendly and laid back atmosphere. They make you feal like part of the family. Loved the service and, with Fondue, you can't go wrong.

Beautiful cozy place with delicious high quality fresh food. The owners are sweet and happy to share their little family business and expertise with everyone who comes.
Yes it takes some time to eat especially if you order table d'hote but it is worthwhile to enjoy a lovely meal with people you love and relax and disconnect.
I suspect those who give one star reviews came in with specific expectations. It is nice to enjoy a restaurant where you don't feel that you are being pushed out for more customers, which is hard to find.
First time customer but will be back in the future!!

Utterly terrible experience for my first trip to this place. The only lady working there is incredibly rude and has a terrible attitude. Not warming or welcoming and actually thought she was doing us a favour by letting us sit on a dirty table next to the bathroom. We left when she decided that airing her political views and offending her customers was a good idea. Before the drink order was in, we marched out the door. I'll go drop $250 for dinner at a place that wants to have me as a guest, and this place wasn't it.

It was Valentines Day so it was busy but there is nothing to cook so we didn't understand what the hold up was. Everything was delicious.

Never again did we have a reservation at 6pm...we arrived at 5:45pm...only to be told that we were too early...to go for a walk or smoke very stupidly...don't understand...we went to this place several times restaurant…and we have never been welcomed in the same way.. I think you are due for your retirement..sorry

The most terrible service I’ve ever seen.Completely rude!!

the prince's fondue offers a very good menu, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is good although where we were seated there was a lack of light. On the other hand, the service was lousy, the waitress was stupid, haughty and full of herself, she judged our ability to pay based on our clothing when leaving, specifying that the couple we were with was sure they would pay well, but that we were not sure, specified the prices if we chose outside the table d'hôte. Waited more than an hour to have the first bottle of wine and a 7up, which I had to open myself, waited more than one hour between each service, not to mention consumption. And being told during payment that “well finally she knows how to count” referring to the amount of my tip. Mrs, please retire and learn that you can't judge by appearance.

Don't be fooled by bad reviews! We have been going there several times a year for over 10 years, and it is truly a must. I'm definitely starting over. The food is more than excellent, always fresh and succulent, in addition to a selection of privately imported wine. The owners are so nice, and provide great service. I advise you to take the table d'hôte of your choice (because everything is good!), cheese fondue starter, Chinese fondue and chocolate fondue to complete it. Yum! We are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for such a good restaurant!

Don't trust the negative comments. We had a wonderful evening! It's nice to find a restaurant that knows what a fondue meal is (not slow service just perfect for this kind of meal!). The food was good and just perfect in quantity. I recommend. PS for the service thanks to Karen (I hope I have the right name) she is really very attentive.
