“It was a late evening. My girlfriend and I were looking for something to lift my spirit since I felt a lot of stress. So she called Stratos Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac to order one large poutine, a meal I distinctly adore. A sweet and gentle voice answered and took the order hastily and with ease. To my girlfriend and I’s content, we arrived and the order was ready. While paying, the cashier was very nice to my partner. She asked if she had a good day with a smile on her face, something that has become so rare in this society nowadays. The cashiers way of welcoming the clients felt fresh and familiar. After paying for the meal, we headed back to our place of residence to enjoy the culinary experience. Now, when it comes to food, it is important to know that I am very difficult. If a smudge of imperfection exists within the ingredients, I WILL taste it. So when I say that the first bite was incredible, I mean it. The taste and the crunchiness of the fries reminded me of a better time, when my life was one of a mere child coming home from school with the smell of a home-made poutine coming straight from the kitchen where my mother waited for me to unveil her magnificent cooking. Then it was the sauce… it flowed through the mouth and stimulated perfectly my taste buds. The satisfying taste of gravy perfectly complemented the fries. Finally, the cheese was also a delight. To be completely honest, there is no place like Stratos Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-lac. It is the place where dreams come true and nightmares vanish. In that restaurant, culinary achievements have gone unnoticed for too long, which is why I am writing this review. I want the world to know about the amazing flavours created in this marvelous kitchen. So, if I had to recommand a restaurant for the rest of my life, it would be this one. “After a long trip from France and with a few hours of jet lag, we stopped at Harvey's because it was very close to our hotel.
At this hour, a little late for Quebec, the room was somewhat empty… However, we were touched by the kindness of the waiter ☺️
As for the meal, it was very decent for a fast food restaurant ?“

“Very good eggs benedict with mountains of fruit or tomatoesIf you ask for something, they do it well in my case.. the roast potatoes very good, Hollandaise sauce yummmTraditional plate of eggs, potatoes, ham, roasted baked beans and a small thin pancake

“During a local power outage, the restaurant was overwhelmed with both inside patrons and takeout/pickup orders as they were in the area with power. It was very slow as a result but when our food came it was hot and delicious. The waitress was good about explaining the situation and apologizing for the delay. It’s a regular stop for us and we will be back.
Note it is very quiet without loud music or tv’s so really noce if you want to talk.“
