We googled best restaurants in Sherbrooke, Quebec and were intrigued by the horse cheek Shepherd’s Pie (shepherd’s pie being my partner’s favorite dish). Came in late night with no real expectations and we were honestly blown away with the ambience, service and food.

Truly unique experience. Very cozy place, a lot of ambiance. Our waitress Megane ( not sure about spelling, sorry) was exceptionally knowledgeable, warm and caring. The dishes were well cooked and well plated. We tasted bison, duck and beef. A little too salty and overwhelmed with dressings to my taste. The description of dessert was misleading. It was supported to include carrot mousse with caramelized carrots, but instead of mousse there was just whipped cream with tiny microscopic...
