I’ve been to what feels like a million La Cage locations over the years lol, but the Saint-Sauveur location is the only one I consistently go back to when I’m up north.
We almost always have the pleasure of being served by a gentleman with glasses, a beard, and a shaved head. I wish I remembered his name because he’s honestly one of the best servers I’ve had anywhere. He’s funny, welcoming, attentive, and always has great recommendations. He genuinely makes every visit better. If you’re reading this we will back soon lol
This has become my go-to spot to catch a game when I’m in Saint-Sauveur. The atmosphere is always great, the service is consistently excellent, and it’s one of those places where you feel taken care of from the moment you sit down.
Make a reservation on game nights like every cage and you’re good to go.

Don’t let the reviews fool you. This pizza is unreal. The only bad thing was the waiter spilled some water when she was pouring it and my fries are pretty cold, but this is probably the best pizza I’ve ever had.

I've been to other Cages in Montreal, but nothing compares to this one. I don't eat meat, but I do love pizza and decided to try it, and all I can say is that it's the BEST pizza in St-Sauveur! I've been to all the restaurants that serve pizza on Principale street, but their pizza doesn't come close to this one. Simply delicious! AND, the waiter and service -> amazing!

Had dishes we’ve often had at different la Cage locations and this was not on par with what we’ve had in the past, ambiance was not kid friendly at all and staff seemed very rushed
Not a kids friendly place. We got kicked out after the reservation expired. They were happy to take our drinks orders and then but then asked us to leave a few minutes later. There is no place to finish your drinks or finish watching a game with kids. There were tables available and no people waiting to get it. The manager said all tables were reserved and the people were late. I was out of luck for the first 4 beers I wanted to order from the menu. They didn’t have them.
Kid-friendliness: This place should be ‘no kids allowed’ not kids friendly at all

After 6 years without having been there I just remembered why 3/4 of the cages closed. The popcorn is the only positive.
Calisse we returned by invitation and absolutely everything is even more of a flop. The popcorn remains the highlight.

Group of around thirty people for a Christmas party, reservation made in advance, we were on the 2nd floor. The food was great, but the service was terrible. It's Thursday evening, 3/4 of the restaurant is empty, when we approach the waitress to order a drink she almost sends me away, claiming that not everyone is seated. It takes forever to be served, when it comes time to order food, same story, she doesn't come to see us, or walks straight by when we wave to her. She is clearly exasperated, disorganized and clearly inexperienced. During the meal she gets angry because two wing starters are missing from my table and claims that someone else in the group accepted the order (the wings finally arrive after the main meal, in total confusion. We refuse to serve them then we accept.. etc)
After the meal several people told him they wanted their bill. She responds exasperated and goes downstairs to print an invoice then goes back up and then comes back downstairs to print a second one (even though the staff has tablets and a mobile terminal). We had to wait an hour and force ourselves to another waiter to finally be able to pay the bill. No one came to clear the table of dirty plates during all this time, nor offered anything else to drink, dessert, etc. The starter plates were still on the tables when I left.
Arrived at 5 a.m. and left around 8:50 a.m. we had to struggle to be served at all times. I understand that groups are a challenge in serving, but what is clear is that our assigned waitress did nothing to make her job easier by making any communication difficult by openly avoiding and ignoring us. If the restaurant had been full I could have understood, but it was 3/4 empty at the start of the evening and at most half full around 8:30.
The food was good, the facilities perfect, we had the potential to be a super paying group. Damage !
I would like to say that the other waitresses (younger) who did not seem to be assigned to our group helped to temper the experience by responding to us in a courteous manner and doing their best to compensate.
