The food is awesome. My husband loves French cuisine and he really really loves all the dishes we had, duck, salmon, spinach soup, linguine and we especially loves the dessert,...soooo good. The serviceis excellent ?? finally, the price is very very reasonable. Highly recommend for everyone.
Auberge A La Fontaine served an excellent 3-course meal for a very reasonable $18 Canadian ($12 US). The prix fixe lunch started with a delicious carrot ginger soup or a fresh salad with a mustard vinaigrette, choice of 5 entrees and ending with chocolate mousse. I'm a vegetarian and they offered me two choices: a cheese omelet with vegetables or pasta with pesto. We went there two evenings in a row because we really enjoyed the dishes, the atmosphere and the waiter!!! Very well cooked French dishes (small downside on the boiled vegetables but we know that this is very common in Quebec). We will come back with pleasure!!
