“what a hidden gem! I probably had one of the best crepe in Montreal. It's a very small coffee shop, clean and very kind owner. The crepe was fresh, thin, not too sweet and simply delicious. I ordered matcha latte and again one of the best Matcha Latte. I have taken Matcha latte from Starbucks and other places and they make it way too sweet but not here at Genki Crepe. Just remember to have the dolce de leche ones and not the Nutella!That being said, its quite expensive at about $4 to $5 per churro + tax! Still have to go with 5 stars since it is one of the only places where the churros have the filling inside, as it should be! Instead of a separate dip cup.Again, remember to order the churros (not the "chi-chis") and it must be the dolche de leche ones!!!“

“Came here for brunch. There was a short line but it moved fast. We got the breakfast poutine and the bacon & blueberry waffles (la belle province). Both were ok, although the waffles were a bit tough & chewy and there were hardly any bacon inside. The breakfast poutine could've used more sauce, I guess that's why I was offered ketchup, mayo or hot sauce. The potatoes were good though. Our waiter only came back to check on us at the end. It's a busy place, with some unique items on the menu.“

“I arrived right on opening time and the doors were opened for me with a big smile. The place is very clean, the morning customers are silent and serene. From 6 a.m. to 7 a.m., we eat in peace. I had a crepe with fruit and chocolate accompanied by sunny side-up eggs. The egg white was not quite cooked. I didn't return it because I remember restaurants throwing out and replacing food rather than cooking it again. It was a morning when the desire to persist about it was lacking, so I just took it to go to finish cooking. The friendly and fast service greatly compensates for this little glitch.“
