“We are looking for a place to eat after being on the plane for more than 10 hours, and this place definitely hit the spot! Even from Chinese standards, I will say the taste is pretty authentic and definitely high quality. You can taste the freshness since all dumplings are made freshly on the site. We especially like their lamb dumplings and cold dishes. The staff are also very friendly!“

“I had dinner at JIAO two nights in a row. A friend and I were visiting Montreal and a local recommended JIAO. They did not disappoint. I had the vegetable Chow Mein with mushrooms and veggies and my friend had the wings and the beef & broccoli. We were both very impressed. The next night I had the vegetable fried rice and he again had the wings and the dumplings. I highly recommend. The manager was so welcoming and friendly to us!“

“I was so excited to go to this place and it did not disappoint. I got 3 buns. A bbq, green tea paste and a brown sugar red bean paste. I loved that they had so many options and with cute decorations. All of them were amazing. Best buns I’ve ever had! I also got a kiwi bubble tea which was delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try more!“

“Went for dim sum on a Sunday morning, got there just before the rush. We ordered via their QR code and the food started arriving within 5 minutes! Everything was super fresh and crispy. I've gone for dim sum countless times in Montreal and this was by far the best tasting version I've had. None of the fried dishes were greasy: the squid tentacles, fried turnip cake, seaweed rolls, and even the crispy shrimp inside the rice rolls were super crispy and light. The har gao shrimp dumplings were plump, perfectly cooked and not waterlogged, and the BBQ pork Bao was a revelation - perfectly steamed bread stuffed with chunks of high quality BBQ pork and delicious sauce, not the usual slimy overly sweet stuff you get at the bun shops. Highly recommend this place, we'll be going back soon!“

“This dim sum spot still uses the classic pushcarts, which adds a nostalgic touch. It’s great for browsing dishes before choosing, though the carts don’t always make it to our table, so might wait for or miss a certain items. The food was decent and the service was swift once seated, but the weekend line was definitely long.“

“Classic Cantonese dim sum that still has cart service at brunch. The food is fresh and tasty and the service ranges from excellent to curmudgeonly but isn't that the charm? Don't be put off by reviews that don't understand the humor in gruff service. Super spacious so easy for groups.“

“Wir waren zum zweiten Mal bei Chef Tang und probierten die Frühlingsrollen, Sesambälle und Nudeln mit Hühnchen. Es hat fantastisch geschmeckt! Für wenig Geld erhielten wir große Portionen. Super !“
