Really great service and loved my pork curry :)
First of all, the restaurant is dirty. The floors are sticky. Secondly, the food was very bad and disappointing. We paid 20-30 CAD for them to make us instant ramen and fry store bought frozen dumplings for us. The tteokbokki was served in a paste of very bad tasting gochujang. The Ganadara at McGill and Guy Concordia are much much better than this one.

Went on a night when it wasn't full. We only received our drinks after we were done our meal, at which point we were ready to leave. They downsized their menu since the last time we came. I used to be full leaving here, but the portions are significantly smaller. The soju is also incredibly overpriced. Nothing special about this location. The food tastes good, but that's about it.

I went yesterday to this restaurant because i’ve been before and i liked their food, but this time the experience wasn’t as good, first of all the glasses for water were dirty and smelled bad and i asked for a new one but it was still dirty, second of all when we got our food, the salad that comes next to the mandu was molding and i let him know and he just took it back , and the udon was so dry it didn’t have any sauce . We saw that we would get 50% off an appetizer for leaving a review which we did yesterday but we still payed full price for everything and we only got a “ sorry about this” for the moldy salad that i had eaten before i notice that it was bad . Overall a not so good experience and i don’t think i will be coming back

We ordered 4 different appetizers, 2 different bulging, chicken fry and poutine. Everything was good. I tried everything. I did not like the test of chicken fry.

The establishment's closing time was advertised as 10:00 PM. Upon arrival at 9:10 PM, I was informed that the kitchen was already closed. Was this information communicated to me beforehand? It would have been beneficial to have been notified of the kitchen's earlier closure, rather than the advertised time.

I met up with friends for dinner and wanted to try the Verdun Ganadara as they offer halal options.
When we got there, we waited at the counter for a while and no one showed up, so we went outside, pushed 3 tables side to side and sat down.
It took at least 20 min before anyone came, and they didn’t even clean the table (there were dirty cups) until we asked.
They said the food would take 45 min to an hour before being ready despite the restaurant having only 4 tables of customers.
The food was average compared to the downtown Ganadara, we didn’t particularly like anything aside from the bibimbap (we ordered 2 types of ramen, udon, tteokbokki, chicken wings, and takoyaki). We had to ask 3 times for water.
At the end, the cashier said that we HAVE to pay an 18% tip because we were six and that it was on their website. We never saw that, it was never written anywhere, and she didn’t mention it at the beginning. We also did not make any type of reservation where it was mentioned.
I had to argue with her and pull up consumer protection law for her to give up. LASTLY, people need to stop taking tips for granted when the service is absolutely horrible. A tip is given for a GOOD SERVICE provided, not for doing a job loosely.

Restaurantji Recommends
Even though I ordered out, my food was served to me stone cold. The veggies, rice, and sauce were very bland, and what little beef there was was not great quality. Plus, the menu says the bibimbap comes with an egg, and mine did not. I did not finish my bowl and was pretty disappointed, a waste of $21.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite making a reservation in advance, our table wasn’t set up when we arrived, leaving us waiting unnecessarily. The service was unorganized—orders were taken incorrectly, and the staff seemed overwhelmed or indifferent.
As for the food, it was wildly inconsistent. Some dishes were far too salty, while others lacked any seasoning at all. There was no balance in flavors, and overall, the quality was subpar. Given the service, the food, and the overall lack of attention to customers, I won’t be returning.

What a waste of money , I couldn't even finish my plate , DONT GO THERE , took the udon bulgogi , my friends had bibimbap and shrimp curry, udon so salty you can't eat it , bibimpab NO TASTE and COLD , same for the curry rice it was all cold and 75% of the plate was the sauce.
Save your day and your money guys.

Mediocre sweet potato fries, poorly prepared squid, dry chicken, half cooked zucchini, and carrots weren't even peeled before getting chipped up. The server was polite but service itself was incredibly slow considering the basically empty restaurant.
Waste of time and money.
