Moa Moa is one of those rare hidden gems that never disappoints. It’s a cozy, no-frills Korean diner that specializes in crispy, golden fried chicken — do yourself a favor and get the half & half (sweet/spicy + soy garlic combo)! The flavors are bold and addictive without feeling overdone.
It’s my go-to stop after a drink in Verdun, whether I’m grabbing takeout or sitting in for a late meal. The vibe is relaxed, casual, and perfect for a solo visit, date night, or a small group of friends — just don’t come expecting a big dining room or fancy presentation, because that’s not what Moa Moa is about.
Their Japchae with pork is a personal favorite: rich, savory, and loaded with flavor. And the seaweed salad is always fresh and crisp, a great balance to the heavier dishes.
This place quietly delivers every single time. Friendly service, solid portions, and consistently great food. Highly recommended.

The 1 star is given particularly for the rude woman who is always at the counter to take the order. I guess she is the owner of the restaurant to be this rude to customers. Her voice tone is always so annoying as if she hates all the customers….

The owner is rule and not nice Food was ok not wow. The service was slow, and she was angry on her face when we paid around 20$ by coins (2$ and 1$) what happened to her? Money is money. My bill totally is 70.

We loved the kimchi crepe ! Service was perfect, everything was very clean, and the food was good.
Terrible service. The middle-aged lady, with the glasses, is always bothered by the smallest request. Any other restaurant would be happy to provide a positive, customer service experience. It was such a small request, that's what made it so annoying. We decided to go eat somewhere else because, honestly, they don't deserve our hard-earned dollars. They are also too expensive for the portion size.

My friends and I regularly eat here. Not only is this my favorite place to get delicious, crispy and juicy Korean fried chicken, but the service is up to par with how good the food is. I also recommend the soondubu jjigae, especially in the colder weather--it's so warm and comforting! Try this place out! You won't be disappointed. <3
