“I had a fantastic experience at Bonab Kebab Restaurant! The service was truly outstanding, the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was excellent flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. If you’re a fan of authentic kebabs and great hospitality, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!“

“I found this place due to the Google reviews and wasn’t disappointed. I had the minestrone soup and chicken wrap and I have to say it was much better than any other I’ve ever had.. fresh and delicious! Nouri’s son was working and he was very friendly and kind! I would definitely come back!“
“I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I ordered the vegan kebab plate and it was delicious and substantial. My friend ordered the koobideh with an extra skewer of lamb which he devoured and enjoyed very much. The main plates come with soup, salad, grilled tomatoes and rice along with toasted bread. I got an extra side of roasted vegetables with my dish. Very chill and relaxed atmosphere. This restaurant's menu is extensive for various diets. I love this as I was able to eat there as a vegan with no issues and left content rather than hungry. The restaurant and washrooms are clean and the art and decor were beautiful. I couldn't stop lookiing at one painting. Our waiter was lovely and made us feel welcomed. This is a great spot for a date, a night out with family or friends. There were even a few kids that we didn't even notice until we paid. They were so well behaved they could put some adults to shame!“

“I had dinner last night and it was delicious- we were 3 North Americans and 1 Persian. I’ve had their take out before but never ate in the restaurant. Quick, polite service. Everyone enjoyed their meal.“

“Absolutely worth a visit to this warm, family-owned Iranian gem.
We ordered the Hunter’s Special, a feast built for two, and it did not disappoint. Think mountain-sized portions, bold flavors stacked like boulders, and spices that run deep as a canyon. (Okay, I may have gone a little wild with the similes, but it really was that good.)
Don’t miss the green lentil and chickpea soup, it’s as comforting as it looks in my photos. For the mains, I personally leaned more toward the ground beef and sirloin beef over the chicken, but all were delicious in their own way.“

“From the time we arrived (8 women) until we left, everything was excellent. A warm welcome, great food, reasonable prices, service with a smile.“
“Shiraz is one of those rare gems that surprises you in the best way. You walk in expecting classic Iranian comfort food and you get that, but then their pizza shows up and completely steals the spotlight. The crust has that perfect homemade feel, the cheese stretches just right, and every bite has that mix of Persian heart and Italian soul. It’s not your typical pizza place, it’s better. Warm vibes, friendly faces, and flavors that stay with you long after you leave.“

“The restaurant can be a bit moody, sometimes amazing, sometimes just good, but never bad. It’s a great Iranian restaurant, especially their kebabs; the koobideh and barg are the best. They serve butter and bread before the meal, and it’s a bring-your-own-wine place. A little overpriced, but worth it overall.“

“I love this place! This is just the type of restaurant I had been looking for in Montreal: beautiful simple space, quiet (no loud music and tables not too close) in a way conducive to conversation, with tasty and healthy food and lovely presentation. And the tea pots and small cups on these individual trays are a pleasure. I had the koukou with a perfectly seasoned side salad, and my party had the feta omelette. We had a delightful time. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and surroundings. I have already told my friends about this restaurant and will be back. Thank you!“

“There are many things to appreciate about this bistro, others we were not super excited about. I would probably try it again if I lived in the area, but will not do a detour for it.
What we liked: the nice, young lady who served us, the coziness of the place, the lentil soup and the lamb shank, the BYOB formula.
What was OK: the eggplant pasta, the side veggies that seem a bit of an afterthought. A bit expensive but that is usually the case in BYOB restaurants as they need to make a good profit on the food itself.
What could be improved: salad included in the meal is tiny and very generic; we had to go to the kitchen at the end to find the wait staff and ask for the bill; open kitchen very close to the dining area with a lot of noise and smells; a few words in French (Bonjour, Merci) would go a long way to make Québécois of all backgrounds feel welcome.“
