Best bartender ever I was traveling alone through Montreal and was recommended this place. I sat at the bar and had one of the best dinners of my life. I’m only 29 so my palette may not be all there yet but this dinner was off the hook. Mac n cheese was divine to put it simply. Filet mignon went crazy with the red wine sauce. Do yourself a favor and get the cheesy whipped potatoes with the steak. Down a bottle of cab throughout the meal. Better than any other restaurant in Montreal.
Celebrated our mum’s 85th birthday at The Tavern. The team made the event amazing. They were keenly aware of people’s unique needs and attended to them remarkably well. Thank you for making the evening extra special.

I’d only go back for a drink and dessert. The bread pudding is the best I’ve had in Montreal. The Manhattan with the homemade cherries was great too.
