“We had a great experience at Lim's! The service was fast and friendly, the restaurant was very clean and well maintained. The sushi/sashimi was very fresh and perfectly prepared by true professionals as we sat and watched at the bar. We will definitely be back soon when the sushi craving hits! The apps were also excellent, (fresh, steamed pork dumplings, and cold, tasty seaweed salad) and the hot sake was a pleasant and smooth compliment to our meal. Favorites include the jap chae and the kimbop - they’re easily made vegetarian which is fantastic. I have never had a long wait here despite coming at busy times - they’re really on top of it!“

“Wish I could give more stars. DoorDashed 2 chicken hibachi dinners with mushroom soup and a side of rice and noodles (for my little one). The portions were awesome and the flavor was even better. The chicken was sitting in a yummy sauce so I used the yum yum sauce for the rice. The chicken was extremely tender. I have been to many hibachi restaurants and I found my favorite. With delivery there is always some type of disappointment (left out item/cold food..etc) but Raku Sakura didn't forget anything and our food arrived hot&fresh. When my dinner was delivered I realized I had accidentally ordered the wrong item through the Grubhub app. I called the restaurant to ask if I could bring back the wrong item for the correct item. Not only did they tell me to keep the incorrect item, but to stay home and they would deliver an entire complimentary meal of the correct item as a courtesy. Not only great food but great customer service !“

“Uncle Sushi is a family owned restaurant. It's all take out (no dining in the restaurant). The sushi is very good and the fish is fresh and delicious. Based on my observations it seemed very clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It has become one of my regular sushi spots!“

“I made reservations for 7 PM on a Friday night for the Omakese (I leave it up to you the chef) Experience. We were brought to the sushi table where there were 8 seats set up around the chef. Our chef's station was a total party of seven who reserved the Omakese experience for the night. Most of the chef's choices were imported from Japan and some were from Hawaii. 1st - the squid, which was very tasty, popped in your mouth when you ate it. 2nd - Monkfish liver pate. I was a little scared at first, not going to lie, but it was great. 3rd - amazing piece of tuna with some truffle on top. Amazing! 2nd favorite 4th - Mackerel, which is usually fishy tasting, but wasn't with the garnish. 5th - Charred Japanese diver scallop. Amazing! 6th - Shrimp...delicious! 7th - Yellowfin Tuna...Very good! 8th - Charred Salmon Belly...the absolute best (melted in your mouth). 9th - Japanese Red Snapper...Very good! Touch of citrus. 10th - Uni (my least favorite) texture and flavor wasn't for me. 11th - Kobe beef with Uni....Fantastic!!!.. the Uni was fine with this pairing. 12th- Tuna with gold and caviar, tie for 3rd favorite 13th - Smoked Salmon (smoked from a cocktail smoker) Amazing! 3rd favorite. 14th - a hand wrap...very good 15th - Homemade Miso soup with clams 16th- Cheese cake, imported from Japan! Definitely worth the $100 per person for the experience...can't wait to go again!“

“Haruki has always been my favorite, the go to for freshness and delicious sushi. My all time favorite is the Die Hard. If you like spicy this one is a must. I love how the heat come on the end once you enjoyed the flavor of the fish. Must like cilantro!! The heat is complained by the freshness of the cilantro, my mouth waters... “I would have given them 5 starts if it wasn’t for the fact that the main Chefs with the long hat wasn’t the one who cooked the food this time. This time around there was a new set of cooks cooking and they didn’t do a good job making the food. For instance, some of my sister beef was still raw and they forgot to put the teriyaki sauce on the beef and chicken teriyaki and the vegetables that are usually cooked to perfection were over cooked too. In addition to this the vegetables in the fried rice tasted like they just came out of a can, which I don’t care to much but it has never tasted that way before. At least the rice was cooked and the chicken. But like I said if it was the original chef with the top hat who usually cooks it I would have given them a 5 out of 5 stars because his food is delicious.“

I found the staff to be friendly, attentive, and simply wonderful! It seems that a lot of people on here can't actually read the menu, where it actually states in black and white what is included in and on the rolls. I made a change on one of mine, and the staff was happy to accommodate. Maybe it's the way some.people talk to the staff, perhaps as though they are entitled? I think diners have forgotten how to politely communicate with staff, especially when there may be differences in culture (you've always got to keep this in mind)! Now that I told you how incredible the service is, let me tell you how much I loved the atmosphere of this dark, quaint hideaway. It's beautiful.. if you're looking for a brightly lit commercial restaurant, this is not it.. for those diiners complaining of it being small and dark, then why did they sit here and eat in the first place? Mind-blowing really how ridiculous some people are! The sushi is outstanding. Most places fill their rolls with rice and give you very little protein. This place is the opposite, a good portion of protein in the rolls with a small amount of rice. I appreciated this!Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
