It was great meeting Mack- our server. She was very present and thoughtful and made our dining experience wonderful. The sushi never fails to impress.

Love the food here. Always good. The downstairs dining room is not nice. It's draughty when the door opens and feels neglected versus the upstairs. Our server was lovely and thanked us for our patience but the fact was that service was really slow. Not just the elaborate food items. It also took 25 minutes to bring us edamame and I had to ask twice to get my sake which then turned up about half an hour after it was ordered. Understaffed?

Amazing!

I've been here a lot and this was the most disappointing time. Food was bad, sushi tasted warm. Service was bad and waitress ignored us the whole time. Had to wait for soy sauce for ten minutes after waiting an hour for entrees.

The food was your typical Baba awesome! Delicious as always. I've been to multiple Baba locations, and without a doubt the service at the Bristol location is far far inferior. I should have known it was just college kids working. The servers and bartenders were drinking on job, taking shots w friends, paying attention to their friends first, ignoring actual patrons serving, talking about getting wasted after work etc. I get it ... if it were a local burger bar that would be tolerable. It is not acceptable at a place and price like Baba. I was very disappointed. I will go back to Baba again-all other locations , I will NEVER go back to Bristol

We were seated in first level dining room. No music and very sterile ambience. When we arrived for our reservation we were told other guests would be seated in lower level as well. Never happened!

It's a lovely old building, parking is not too bad. The food was excellent - nicely executed sushi and sashimi for the most part. There are just a few tables and it was full but not noisy. The service was a bit patchy and we had to wait for menus. One ordered item came out after everyone else had finished eating but they did comp that. Desserts also didn't come at the same time. After some delay, again after the early desserts were finished, we only then heard that the missing dessert was not available. One cocktail order was just missed. Overall was on the expensive side, apps and sushi for four, plus 2 desserts and 2 cocktails was $300 with tip. It's not somewhere I can afford to eat at on the regular at that price point but, there is an outside upstairs deck and I can see myself coming back to eat out there some summer evening.

Perfect night out with my wife. Our bartender Abby was awesome and every cocktail she made for us was spot on. Sushi was delicious and is totally worth the price. We will most definitely be back.

What HAPPENED to this place? I’m truly hoping that this was a one off experience but it began with being sat outside in the cold after we specifically requested on our reservation to sit our large group inside (they gave our table to another group who complained about the cold), and it ended with being handed only the total slip from our bill after they said “we’ll take care of you.” In between it took an hour and ten minutes to be served dinner from the time we sat down. We had to ask for plates. We had to ask for soy sauce. and one of our guests didn’t even get their meal served to them until we were all done. And it wasn’t even correct! They put all our food down on the table outside eventually and we tried while shivering to eat as fast as we could. Five minutes later they said we have a table for you inside if you want (couldnt they have just told us and served us INSIDE??). Drinks here used to be exquisite. They were run of the mill. People said sushi was “good” but those who got standard entrees didn’t even finish the meal it was so bland. For the last two years we’ve said this is some of the best sushi around but this dining experience was just off putting.

Baba Sushi has gone down. When it first started, it was great, but over the years, it's faded from its former glory. The sushi is fine, and it's the only sushi place in Bristol, but not the best. The service has gone down. The college kids aren't as attentive, and don't anticipate customers' needs. I would recommend Baba Sushi to a friend IF they really wanted sushi and did not want to drive to Barrington or Providence to get it.

Best sushi I’ve ever had! Staff is so kind and welcoming. Shoutout to Autumn, Emma, and Mack for being so awesome at their jobs. Such a great atmosphere, will definitely be going back!
