Delicious and the staff is great!
I don’t typically give reviews but I had to say what a great place this is . The food was fantastic but the staff is what stood out to me . The service was top notch and the staff was so inviting and friendly, the genuine kind and not the fake customer service kind. It was refreshing to find such friendly servers! Not from Bristol but I will definitely make another visit here.

If anyone gives Sunset Cafe less than a 5 they are nuts!
Everything I have had here is AMAZING!
The pumpkin latte is beyond words! So delicious. The pancakes are perfection. Omelettes are so fresh and delicious. The homefries are so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The cafe is decorated beautifully.
We drive an hour to go there because once you try the food you will crave it and want to go back often.
Please open a second location near Coventry!

Fantastic food with a fair amount of waiting on a Sunday morning.

Was excited to try this place - very nice decor and atmosphere, seemed clean as well. But our waitress was in an openly lously mood the entire time. She was condescending and seemed annoyed by any question that was asked about the menu. Her answers were rude, at one point even mocking my question. She knew it too because she stopped herself mid-sentence. It was uncomfortable. The meal overall was bland and lack luster, and combined with our waitresses attitude it was disappointing. But my friends meals looked good. I also think its bad form to take a person's plate away when they are still eating. I had food in my hand and she took the plate away so quickly I had no where to put it back down. Will not go back, and do not recommend. Such a shame, its a cute place with a nice menu, and all the other employees I encountered seemed pleasant. This waitress really undermines the place.

I think my expectations for this place were too high. It's a good breakfast/lunch spot but food was just average. The waitress we had was very good. She was attentive and pleasant but the hostess was not very friendly or welcoming so was a not so great vibe walking in. The atmosphere wasn't bad but not great either. This was our first time trying this place so maybe this was just an off day for them and it was a good place so will definitely be back to try again.

Best pumpkin chai latte and wonderful special sandwich of the day on croissant... Ham, cheese, egg and fig jam. So delish. Great vibe and warm atmosphere. A great recommendation.

Not diner food, expertly conceived and prepared dishes that are uncommon and superb. Poached were perfect as well as the sweet bread French toast and pancakes. Emily, our server was fantastic...

Stopped by Bristol Sunset Cafe for some breakfast. Pretty busy for a Friday. Sat at the counter. Grabbed a coffee, water and Sriracha Benedict. Coffee was good, regular cream and sugar. Would have liked to have seen some Stevia. The Benedict was good, comes with a good amount of Hollandaise sauce. Was expecting a little more kick from the Sriracha. The eggs were cooked perfect. Comes with very good breakfast potatoes. Look forward to my next dish.

Came in to town for a few days wanted to find a hidden gem. This is the spot. Small bar selection but growing. Waitresses are very friendly and attentive. Was able to enjoy a good book and wonderful food highly recommend the chicken cutlet. Over all highly recommended for people looking for an alternative to the bar scene here in bristol.
Our server, Sam, was the highlight of this meal. She was kind, witty, attentive and we ended up ordering more food/drinks because of her. She recommended the chicken cutlet Cesar salad plate and it was amazing! The cutlet was thin, flavorful and salad paired it perfectly. 10/10 perfect girl dinner. Can’t wait to return!
Love this spot for breakfast. Great cappuccino. Try the scramble. Homemade biscuits. Service is excellent. Consistent..
We were driving by one night last week and now open for dinner. We had a cocktail at the bar.
Charming place with great food. We enjoyed everything, but the banana bread french toast and the home fries were amazing. The service was excellent.
Well, in short—what a disappointment.
Cute spot, clean, service is fine—though you shouldn’t expect much in RI. But the kitchen has no clue… the meal was a horrid mix of hot and cold “creative” mess on a plate. Even the most basic concepts of food prep were missing. I guess the same “creative” approach is happening in my trash bin—though at least that has a consistent temperature...
