Stopped in for a look around and got chatting with Paul (owner) who was very sweet. We loved the cakes he was able to make as well as some of the sweet treats on offer. Also delighted to see some of the paintings he also made, along with scented candles too. Really nice to spend some time chatting with, told us about the local area and other places to check out on our visit. Definitely worth stopping in for a chat!

I really wanted a pearl wedding cake, but Paul recommended to do something similar to avoid the hard pieces/choking hazard. The result turned out great- and tasted great! Would recommend :)

I called The Cake Gallery because I was getting married in Bristol and wanted a local bakery. I spoke with Paul and explained that I love chocolate chip cookies and have always wanted a tiered cookie cake for my wedding dessert. I showed him a picture of my idea and he loved it! Even though he said that he's never done anything like it before he was still willing to try. Fast forward to wedding day and my jaw HIT THE FLOOR when I saw this cake!! It looked exactly like the photo, exactly what I imagined for so long. On top of all of that... it was DELICIOUS. So good that my now husband and I didn't get any leftovers to take home. We were so sad! Haha but a good problem to have. I will absolutely be ordering from the Cake Gallery again in the near future.

Bought a smash cake for photos for my daughter’s first birthday. Sent a photo of the cake I wanted and the colors and design. He said he could make it exactly like that. Picked it up the day of the pictures. He wasn’t there and the colors of the cake are completely different than what I asked for. Now I’m scrambling trying to fix the colors before the photos. I am so upset and will be finding a new cake decorator.

i’ll start off with it was a beautiful moist, delicious cake!! it was my 20th birthday yesterday and my mom and I placed the order for the cake the day before yesterday and he was able to get make it for us which was so amazing!! he was so genuine and friendly!! Now when we were giving him the spelling of my name, we’re were trying our best to make it clear my name is spelt with 2 Ns and he had even made a note, but sadly it was still with the one N… i was very upset at first because i had waited to see it until i got home to see that for my 20th, but i of course got over it loll!! With the cake it’s self again, very good yellow cake, i’m not a huge frosting person but that was really good, Their was a cookie crumb on the sides was sooo good! but not nearly enough custard in the middle… all together I’d definitely go back for some goodies!! and definitelyyyy go back for their homemade candlesss and room sprays!! they smell so good!!

I went in yesterday for a piece of cake. I hadn’t gone in some time and happened to be downtown. After ordering, the male behind the counter asked if I had voted yet. I said no, not yet. He then asked who I was voting for, I looked at him and said I’d rather not say. He kept persisting and I told him. Apparently it wasn’t what he wanted to hear and proceeded to go on and on AND ON with his opinions of the candidate. Every time I tried to speak, he would interrupt me to keep talking. The phone rang and then I left. This was extremely unprofessional. I went in there for a piece of cake and to support a business and wound up listening to someone’s brainwashed political views.

Amazing cupcakes, unbelievably good and Paul is such a nice guy!
Went into this bakery today by chance to see if they had a small ready made cake available to take to a friend. I spoke with Paul and ended up ordering some same day cupcakes. When I picked them up and opened the box I thought I had died and gone to cupcake heaven. Outstanding! My friend and her husband were amazed by these beautiful cupcakes. They were as delicious as they were beautiful. Thank you Paul!

SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! Don't bother reaching out to them online or email. They do not respond nor do they check their email. I sent an email inquiry 2 days before my wife's birthday and called asking for someone to reach out to me. I spoke to one man on the phone to follow-up on my email and was told he couldn't help me, instead I had to talk to the other employee. I asked to speak with this other employee and was told no, but to re-send my email. Not once did anyone call or email me back before the date we needed the cake. Their customer service needs work.

I ordered the flower bouquet cupcakes. In lemon and chocolate. They were beautiful, but I only got to try the chocolate, and it lacked the deep, rich chocolate flavor I crave. The frosting was perfect and not overly grainy or sugary.
