First of all, 4 stars for the food. Issues centered on presentation and follow through. I asked for no gravy, dinner was covered, and since the meal was stacked on top of each other, the included the entire dinner. Also, my husband and I do not like everything piled on top of whatever is on the bottom. For me it was 3/4 stuffing and little potato. For him it was the opposite. We ate here in the fall of 18 and loved the daily specials, Turkey dinner for $18 was great, hope they continue. Went for prime rib on Friday evening at 5:45 and were seated in the big dining room, like the quaint one on the right better, but no choice. Waitress was fine and hooray, cloth napkin, no tablecloths, but glass water goblets.Things are getting better. We each had prime rib, however , were not served any bread before hand and no choice of veg or starch. I think daily...
Excellent atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, varied food and drink menu. My biggest complaint would be that, while the food is pretty good, it isn't extraordinary, and prices therefore seem very steep.
