Service was so slow. We had to wait 45 min to put our drink & starter order in. People around us started to notice that we hadn't gotten our drinks and starter until an hour of sitting. Our reservation was at 7:15, we arrived at 7, didn't leave until close to 11pm.
Loved the food! The cocktails were out of this world and everything we ordered we throughout enjoyed. The pasta was delicious and tasted so fresh! The delectable desserts capped off a wonderful meal! Would definitely recommend to a friend! The wait staff was very kind and accommodating.
We've been to Basta on several occasions and this was actually the first time we were disappointed. We're not the type of people that complain about much of anything, but my wife knows when things are and aren't right. She has been in the business for 36 years earning a Recognition of Service Excellence Award (ROSE Award) for hospitality which is selected by peers in the hospitality business.
